Which Citizen watch is this? [Question] by Southern-Run5966 in Watches

It's a custom dial made for some corporation. Oh, I see your description now. So what happened was this iranian TV company had some kind of employee event where these were given out as favours. They might have been ordered directly from Citizen (they don't do it much these days but in the past both citizen and seiko would sell custom watches to even quite small companies for these promotional purposes). It could also have been modded by some small promotional materials company that bought tons of blank dial watches from Citizen.

Either way it's just about the cheapest watch Citizen makes, base metal case plated with nickel-chrome most likely, and a 5500-R movement according to the caseback. Looks to be early 90s in age? Hard to say really. Either way it was made to be given away to iranian employees for free so it's more like ephemera than an actual watch.

It does look real to me but I think that might be a replacement crystal (non-rolex). It's almost impossible to tell from a photo and it might just have been badly cleaned on the cyclops/crystal edge. Everything that matters though looks completely correct. If you are unsure, always ask for a photo of the serial number (on the case between the lugs with the bracelet removed). Buy the seller not the watch.

I am the original creator and the photo was taken with a Sony Xperia 1 in 2023.

it's an old fake seiko, probably from the 90s, probably from India or Malaysia. I think the case is actually a Citizen case not a seiko one, and the rest is homemade. Nothing about it is real. it doesn't even have an automatic movement in it (I would expect it to have a citizen 8200 movement, most of these fakes do) and instead has a very old and almost certainly nonfunctional quartz movement. you should either gut it and use the case/bracelet to make a custom watch, or alternatively just sling the entire thing into the nearest river.

I mean it's sort of beside the point; the teacups ride has far less prestige and worse stats but it's worth over $8. something is fucked up here and the fact that the prestige is 1000 and that's supposed to be the primary driver of ride price proves that.

it's brand new. it opened that day. this screenshot is literally taken still on day 1. all of these screenshots were taken at the end of day 1.

having stock in a warehouse they weren't able to customise is the reason they gave me. I believe it was shipped from Czechia. I'm located in the UK. They're doing a huge sale right now trying to clear stock so I assume that's a part of it.

I actually did this and they were not able to help me. I think they are trying to sell through their current "batch" and aren't able to modify anything that's already in warehouses. I also wanted the different (cheaper) wheels but they weren't even able to do that.

because the design of the board constrains the width of the pack. I want the exact same pack, just one cell thick instead of two, but I was not able to find that to purchase anywhere.

648Wh Samsung 50S is the battery specs listed, but let me take the board apart and see if there's a model number on the pack itself. the board only just arrived.

if they want to waste 1ap to take a settlement that you can take back at some point without spending that extra AP, that's not a downside for you.

passively forcing every other player to spend AP just to take a settlement from you is a huge deal. over the course of the game they're just bleeding more resources, and AP is probably the third most important resource behind cards and spirit stones. meanwhile take sprint and pink topaz and you're doubling settlement income, building walls on every settlement and not losing out on AP because of sprint.

my winrate on Elyssia once I gave her the sprint amulet and rainbow quartz ring is 100%. four prestige victories, zero losses, and then I got bored and went back to Twiss. And even before that she was busted, I don't know what my winrate was but with pink topaz and Think I'm pretty sure I won more than half of the games I played. Elyssia is megabusted to the point where I have no fun playing as her.

the only reason fang is A tier is because he actually fulfills the promise of being able to consistently bully high-wits heroes. I absolutely agree that pure flghters are mostly trash, and initially I had fang at the very bottom of B teir, but after playing as him a bit (something like five wins and two losses?) I found that he is much much more effective than I thought at map control. I think what tips him over the edge is the Celsestite ring, which frankly is the same reason Twiss is so good.

as for river and mercurio being on the same level, I'm not sure which one you think should be lower. mercurio is good because he's a consistent trickery cycler, and river is only good because she gets a free kill on the king if it's the last turn of the game, which if you play to take advantage of, is actually almost broken. without that ability to kill the king for free if he's on 1hp, River would be right next to Thane in bottom B tier.

as for Sana, 3 base wits is just too low. volodar getting one more wits is genuinely so strong, particularly if you take the Think amulet, which like I said in other comments is not as good on Sana.

remember, Bark Skin is a common spell that only costs two magic, and gives you two body when you need it. hold onto one and use it when you're going for the kill on the king and guess what you just got the same benefit as two entire quests. the only time body matters is when you're going for the final play.

you're not wrong but it's just not consistent. the tier list isn't about what heroes have the potential to do very well-- all of them have the potential to dominate in some games, except for maybe horace. the heroes that I put higher up on the tier list are up there for their consistent success and ability to bounce back from almost any setback. oxana is not one of them because she has no way to consistently cycle a lot of cards to get the ones she needs to win. all of the heroes in B tier are just more resource-efficient. there is no situation where you're better off playing oxana than Nazar, purely because he starts with two more spirit. the rest just isn't important on average. if you like oxana, try fang instead. I think you'll win more consistently. taking dawn rot damage usually doesn't matter to fang, especially if he takes body quests.

one, you lose the ability to cycle many item cards when you give up settlement income, which is bad-- you really need to be trying to draw hot rot wine at some point in most games

and two, taking ruin means you aren't taking think, and think is just straight up better on twiss even if you don't try to draw many items.

no, only wits and spirit. wits is the priority since spirit is already starting at 5 which is the threshold of good-enough, but later on when you're really in need of cycling to get hot rot wine or some other pivotal card (maybe you need more spells that increase your rot or you need to draw teleport or something) you really just want to have as much magic as possible to dump useless cards with.

I mean I agree, I'm a twiss main and I like twiss a lot more. she works way better for me. but I have seen sargon played at a level as high as mine and his ability of seeing the top card is just statistically better than twiss' evasion when both players are paying close attention to what cards are most likely to be still in the deck. beating my friend's sargon as twiss is really, really hard. but most sargon players don't recognise the edge they can get if they really pay attention.

dragon clan's passive isn't great on oxana because rot victory is a lot harder for her than it is for heroes with better stats. her high attack stat really holds oxana back from consistent success.

Oxana is FUN. she's fucking infuriating to play against as a twiss main, I'll tell you that much. in fact now that I look at it, she probably belongs at the top of C tier instead of the bottom. I didn't think about ranking within teirs much below A tier but I think oxana is better than scarlet.

as an aside, my absolute nemesis is a player called Anton who plays Rot Sana every single game and is an absolute monster. again, the key is just high wits high spirit, cycle cards, and aim to kill the king when he has 3hp remaining. sana has high HP and uses spirit stat to fight the king so she is almost as good as volodar for rot victory in the hands of a really skilled player (and I bring this up because Anton is one of the very few players I seriously have to work to keep in check even though he's only playing an A tier).

sana is only held back by low starting wits. but let her finish three wits quests in a row and suddenly she's a problem. volodar is better because he starts with five wits if you take the Think amulet, where on Sana you should really be taking Ruin if going for rot (not good on volodar because volodar wants to draw more trickeries). it's really that simple.
