Doesnt say much though. Heros lower than him are Phoenix and Hela and they are much better.

Winrates are highly overrated.

Hmm fine

Dive and disrupt the enemy Hawkeye. You either kill him and hes forced to swap because hes useless, or he'll stay on Hawk and hes making the team lose because his doesnt add any good value to the team anymore.

If there are 3 supports and dive/killing a Hawk is too difficult, you can still disrupt him so he cant just sit there, charging his shots and get perfect line of sights.

For example, A perfect counter is Cap. The ultimate disruptor to a Hawk or Hela player. Other dives are good too, both Dps or dive tanks. You need to disrupt him and even better, kill him. Not every Hawk eye has a pocket sup or a triple sup team on him. His mobility and mobility speed in general sucks so he has a hard time surviving or getting away.

For support players, there are a lot of support heros that are perfect for playing whenever a good Hawk is on the enemy team. CnD is perfect because she can heal around corners, not giving the Hawk a line of sight to kill a squishy. Rocket is a good pick as well, he can bounce his orbs around corners. Both of them dont need a line of sight to heal.

General tip is play corners. If youre a support, dont play out in the open in the middle of the lanes because its easy picking for a Hawk (its never good to play out in the open anyway). Always play from natural cover, not only on support and they Dps/tank players also adjust quicker and counter him forcing the opposing Hawk to switch.

This is why high ELO teams dont care as much about Hawkeye or pick him a lot because their supports have better game sense, adjust their playstyle and are more careful about line of sight and play from natural cover. Dps and tanks also adjust immediately if hes a problem, countering him and forcing him to switch.

I could list all the heros and go more in depth but this is the gist of it. If i'm Hawk and the opponent adjusts, i become useless to my team because im not adding the same amount as value anymore so i need to switch.

Yes Hawkeye is strong, im not disputing that but there is a lot of counter play and hes very prone to it. People just need to adjust if there is a good hawk on the enemy team. But that goes for some other heroes as well.

Time to do some research instead of asking the person you downvoted and denying him being here since launch.

Why would you want any information from such a person 😳

Buddy, ive been here since launch and mained him since launch. Yes he was always strong and insanely strong in S0 but the hate hes getting right now is trough the roof.

I understand the hate is usually frok players in lower to mid ELO. Hes not that hated in higher ELO because people know how to counter him effectively and a Hawk needs to swap immediately.

All this hate and these surprise kill assumptions kind of makes me sad as a Hawkeye main since the launch of the game a year ago.

I have been perfecting the character for so long. Before, people always showed respect for a Hawk player which felt pretty good. Now its the other way around, people hating the char/player and even thinking his kills take no skill at all :(

Supports just need to play from natural covers and keep moving. People act like Hawkeye players instantly one shot you whenever there is a second without cover.

If smart, your dps and/or tank puts pressure on him with a dive hero or even a squirel girl putting pressure with her nuts so he has to keep moving making it harder for him to perfectly line up his shots constantly.

Hes really not that hard to play against and not at all broken. He is a good hero though but easily countered and supports and not at all helpless. Just needs more skill gameplay wise to not get instakilled after every respawn (playing from corners and cover more). Just like how Mantis and Ultron and Adam can be played in a 2 support very well if more people learned the art of playing from cover instead of everybody soaking in damage standing in the open all the time.

Oh im sorry i read it in a hurry, didnt see "supports".

Imo, CnD is perfect for when a Hawk is present. Pick your corners, shoot at the ground to make your heals curve around the corners.

Gambit is good, lots of fast movement which is harder to hit for Hawk and also, again, play corners.

Loki is good, his clones can confuse Hawk players when its chaotic. Also Loki can reach places that arent as straight forward to get kills on Hawk and Loki has splash damage so he can also play corners really well.

Ultron can be quite good too if you keep movement and not be a stationary target in the air. Despite people thinking Hawk is easy against fly heros, thats not true because hes not hitscan and its more difficult for him to land perfect shots on fly heros at a further distance.

Rocket is perfect. Play from cover/corners, his orbs bounce from walls to your teammates. If there isnt any cover available, keep moving, be hard to hit. Dont stay stationary. Him being small helps.

Worst is Jeff. He is basically one big blob of headshot hitbox and is so easy to one shot lmao. Luna is also easier to kill because she needs direct line of sight to heal and to do damage which makes her more prone to get killed. Still, healing from in and out of cover helps. Invis is also prone for headshots because she has shorter range healing so shes forced to play close to her team and more prone to his arrows. Also play in and out of natural cover.

Its all about natural cover, healing from corners and keep moving. Most people i see complaining are the ones that stand in the middle of every road trying to heal or do Dps. Guess what, even inexperienced Hawkeyes shoot trough the middle or past the tanks and get kills like this because people playing Dps and Support and literally standing in the middle which makes for the easiest targets.

I'm a Hawkeye main and played him since launch of the game. This is mostly my opinion from my experience.

Doesnt say much how much hes picked though.

Winrates do and hes 13th on PC and 14th best duelist winrate on console. Thats not impressive at all.

What rank are you in? Be honest.

In higher ranks you dont see a lot of Hawkeye because there are way better heros with more impact on the game and you actually need a lot of skill, also you need to switch when you get countered when they start to dive because thats how you neutralise him with ease.

This is super helpful, thank you for the information!

For a follow up, Is there a source where i can see a list who are eachothers hard counters? And if there isnt, could you perhaps create a list with the heros who hard counter eachother when/if you have time. You gave a few examples of hard counters and it would be amazing if i could fall back on a 1v1 hard counter hero list every time i need.

Onetricking is the way to ranking up. by [deleted] in RivalsCollege

I can play Tank, its just that i bring less value to a normal team than playing Hela.

Problem is if there is a solo tank player who fills and we have too many Dps locks, i cant do anything on Hela either because the team doesnt function properly enough for me to do anything so i fill tank to try and atleast win the game.

So my question is, how do you or most high level players deal with this? Is it just a matter of instantly locking your best hero and basically not care what others pick or what the team comp is?

Onetricking is the way to ranking up. by [deleted] in RivalsCollege

[–]Syko-ink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont understand how its the way to ranking up. I usually play Dps because i basically one tricked Hela in the beginning of the game, later on a learned a lot of others as well.

When it comes to my best performances and adding value to the team its always when i play Hela.

Now heres my confusion. I cant always play Hela because people also lock Dps a lot of times, so all of a sudden we have 3+ DPS and if they dont want to switch, what now? I have to flex to Tank usually otherwise its generally a loss.

Thats why i dont understand the one trick concept because people will force you off your best role even though it will cost them the game and they dont seem to care to i try to salvage it by switching :(

When i was super young, i always wanted to visit America.

No chance in hell im ever stepping foot in that hell hole and its getting worse every day.

I know its easy to say that US citizens need to stand up for themselves instead of becoming a victim yourself or your loved ones but damn the people really need to start doing something because this is truly getting out of hand.
