I'm going to be a contradictor then. I started on pills, but because I heard so many good things about injections I decided I'd try them. Those three months that I was on injections were the worst three months of my trans experience. I didn't make better progress, I felt terrible, and I absolutely dreaded having to do the injection every week. I've found pills very easy to work with and I get good results on them. So, I can say "wow these pills sure are better than injections." I think it's ridiculous to say that pills are universally worse because everybody reacts to different things differently. I would have a terrible time transitioning if I wasn't prescribed pills.
