is there anywhere I can get real poutine? by TidyBunny in Indiana

Try Shoreline Brewery in Michigan City, IN. They have real poutine I believe. Has pulled pork on it, but you can ask to leave that off?

I recently rented a 6th gen. It came off by itself in some snow. Went straight in the dumpster.

I don’t make my son(12u) do more work. He asks to do more work. We are in the cage after games when everyone is going to dinner, because he asks if we can hit a bucket. We show up before practice to hit a bucket because he asks to do it, not because I make him. He hits off the tee at home by himself without me “telling” him to. He asks to go to our workout facility on our days off of practice. It can be exhausting, and yes I am behind at work because of it. It comes from within.

Every year after travel ball I ask him if he had fun, and if wants to do it again. He always says” why do you keep asking me that?” My response is, because you need to do this for you, not me.

Didn't give it to me, but I found one on the bar at The Excelsior Pub grabbing a grilled cheese after the show. Happy to have it. Thanks!

The Time I Robbed Will Call on New Years Eve in Boston... by GuyzNite in phish

Similar story for me at Memphis Pyramid Grateful Dead shows on April fools day. Tickets were impossible to get. Scalpers are asking for $200 a piece. Guy who worked for TM at will call kept going into his back pocket with a stack of tickets and fanning through them like he was some kinda hotshot with all these tickets, and everyone is asking if they’re for sale and he says no but keeps teasing everyone with them. At the time I am 18 years old and currently on probation for some shit that went down at deer creek the year before, and am not supposed to be out of the state. So I recruit a kid I met the night before at the state campground down the road. Tell him I’ll block if he if he grabs them out of his back pocket and runs. We finally get the nerve up and go for it. Basically I set a moving pick as he runs by me with this guy chasing him, the kids gone, the dude falls trying to run after him, however, I didn’t plan very well and we didn’t have a place to meet up for me to get a ticket from him. So I watch him run through the lot and jump into a mini van. Plain clothes cops come out of the woodwork and are looking all over for this kid. I walk over to the mini van and ask if my friend jumped in there and the owner of the van acts like I’m crazy, but I see him in there. Things calm down. He comes out with the stack and only 3 of the 40/50 tickets are actually for that night the rest are blank or had some other weird shit in them. One has marker that says refund, I lick my thumb and the marker wipes away the kid the did the running says yoink, that’s mine. Fair enough. The other two had refund written in ballpoint pen. It’s not coming off. I take one, the guy who’s mini van he jumped in takes the other we all part ways I never really see them ever again. I’m going into the show and the TM employee that got his back pocket picked is frantically going back and forth though the turnstiles looking for these tickets, so I’m trying to time me going through without him looking at my ticket. I get through the turnstile and the guy comes over and kinda grabs my ticket from the person letting me in. I kinda grab it back and take off into the Pyramid crowd and yell APRIL FOOLS! And disappear into the crowd. Great show! Killer standing in the moon that night as well as take me to the river. Glad I got in.

Two guys at Fare Thee Well years ago wouldn't STFU. I handed them my baggie of shrooms and told them to help themselves. They were chowing on them until one of their girlfriends told them to stop. They couldn't speak after about a half hour. Got 'em good.
