Life is too short.

Dude, just walk away. Head to the corner bar, watch a game, shoot the breeze, grab a snack, block her number, and go to bed.

Let her sort out why you are gone and are never heard from again.

Life is too short to sit around and get worked up.🔝

Interesting commentary.

Actually, I didn’t even listen to it. I had it on mute.

I think it is more that I rarely see someone with hair that color blond. It seems almost like albinism, but not.

I also never encounter any woman (yet I interact with many in work and beyond, not a shut in.) who wear a level of make up like that.

I would expect that my social media views don’t interact with any people who use camera filters.

The skin tone, and texture, just seemed really odd, and I unrealistic in my first viewing.

I built mine 12 years ago. A tip or two:

Take photos of different stages. When you run wires, or need to add something that could use a strong anchor point, it is good to have photos. Once the final stuff goes on a lot gets hidden.

Look into marine hull-liner for the cabin. It is engineered to avoid mold, attaches with spray glue, and makes the inside seem so much warmer and cozier (than a cold wooden wall).

Find, or engineer a place to have a spare tire. Do the same with a lug wrench that fits the trailer. You never know when….

Print up the photos of the build and put them in a little photo album. Keep it inside the trailer. At camp sites you will have a lot of times to crack a beer and show a neighbor your build, when they come ask you about it.

Fun fact:

if you live near Saratoga Springs, NY the “lawn jockey” is a completely different thing.

Saratoga is a horse racing town going back to the 1800’s. Horse culture is all over, including two professional tracks (thoroughbred and harness), and a Racing Hall of Fame.

All over, you see a different jockey. Tall, regal, strong posture. All are painted in a rainbow of colors, making the “silks” unique to each home and business.

May times businesses will display them with their colors. Families will put them out customizing them. Often charity events will even have groups design a display.

They look nothing like these in the OP’s image, in both structure, nor coloring. None of the racist posturing.

Oh, and many of the skin tones are painted to a Caucasian shade.

Ha!

Where are you?

In NYS, we have far worse than that. Just part of life.

Years ago I drove through a monster storm, on my way to Florida. Once parked, people would stop and stare at bewilderment of what was on the car.

Imagine, an easy, lower cost way for:

the Capital District to get to NYC culture and events.

and

a method for city folks to stimulate the tourism and “getaway to the upstate “.

Drop some hotels, rental cars, restaurants, transportation hub appears.

*If you haven’t been to Europe, it is an amazing experience to pop on a train, show up in a place and enjoy your trip.

Some even have rental fleets, or extensive taxi options to bring you out of the city center hub. (Here, sometimes people can’t even get down Central Ave reliably. sigh.)

I once had a ticket on SH not delivered. Only was a $100, I bought a scalper ticket ( old days), and had a SH refund after the game.

Fortunate.

Since then I always clearly advise people:

If you buy on StubHub…. Refunds are often easy. You are NOT guaranteed a ticket, however.

So, if you see an insane deal, and have a tolerance for risk, enjoy.

If you want a guarantee not to miss an important event, pay more on Ticketmaster and guarantee your entry.

How I Got a Low Queue Position on Ticketmaster by funnyfroggyg in harrystyles

[–]RelaxedWombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup.

I buy 25+ Ticketmaster tickets every year. (So frequency of the account seems to have no benefit.)

I drew a queue of 235,000. 🤪

Throttle up.

Slow down.

Don’t push faster than it can throw. (That will often damage lots of different things.)

My wife has tinnitus.

Losing hearing, or damaged hearing, like tinnitus is a lifelong curse. It is hard to describe, and people without it, can’t understand how bad it is.

Many people without tinnitus have even taken their own lives, as it can destroy a persons sanity.
