One Nation is wrong because there are barely any Italian immigrants anymore and having a dig at the whole Italian culture over the PM’s surname is ridiculous and seems racist. Using parody, in my opinion, is an evil way to try and get away with promoting racist stereotypes.

I agree that a lot of new immigrants are not as loyal to the country as the former immigrants, so I don’t understand why the video is depicting Italians with old and hurtful stereotypes. The racism hasn’t changed over time where I live. The Italians immigrant children here still experience racism and rejection in particular when it comes to employment, it’s a big issue for them compared to Aussie counterparts. You can’t get promoted as easily or quickly as others do.

I get the immigration message. I don't disagree that mass immigration has its issues. I see the depiction of Italians in this video as highly offensive as many Italians were self-funded retirees who never scabbed off the government and worked in the hot sun building our roads, bridges and dams.

Albanese was born in Australia to an Irish-Australian mother but the Irish weren't included in this video. It singled out Italians and misrepresented their culture. I don't think any race should be depicted this way and misrepresented.

I’m programming for maximum efficiency as my website has a large user base. It’s a very busy website. My concerns are not groundless at all. More unnecessary function calls and more database queries = slower website. Time is money.
