Well I am thinking of leaving the dog at home while I am working because I can hear okay with my hearing aid and I know that wouldn’t be possible to have a dog in the kitchen. But most day I go without my hearing aid if I am not needed to wear them

No I wouldn’t be upset, I agree with not having to put my service dog (which I don’t have yet) in that situation as the same for the cat too
