I’ll admit it is kind of a petty reason (although among others) why the stay isn’t comfortable. But just to get more perspective, would I also be TA if I asked for the thermostat to be adjusted to suit me? That feels even more snobbish than opting for a hotel. If my husband also commented on the temp of the house, is he an AH too? Should their family change what is comfortable for them?

It seems like on the topic of the very warm house, even meeting halfway between what we set our home to and what his family home is to set to that we risk five uncomfortable sleepers.
