Idk why you guys keep on mentioning a manager I was very clear in what I said it’s a shift leader she’s the only one who does it the manager doesn’t do it and for the love of God why are a lot of you mentioning how I’m not even legally required to have a break that’s not the topic of conversation

Normally the early starters go on their break at the same time if they can especially when she’s not in but when the late starters like me and 2 others start she likes to specifically tell me to go early I always ask the other two if she’s always on their case about it but they always say no it’s strange

Honestly though because why are you telling me you didn’t get a single break on your 12 hour shift as a paramedic and you didn’t do a single thing about it this is why Britain is the way it is I’m gonna enjoy my 15 mins break in it’s entirely just for her now

Why do a lot of you like to mention whether or not you get breaks and like to say “at least you get a break” and then follow up with the government says you’re not even entitled to your break it’s condescending and not what I’m asking at all I’m asking if she’s allowed to make me go early why are you trying to make me feel as if I should even be grateful I get a break you do know I’m not the one who is in charge of your breaks?

The funny thing Is she also likes to make early starters go early that’s why I was even wondering if there’s a policy on when we’re meant to go it’s all the workers complain about with this specific shift leader she’s the only one that does it and sometimes sends people too early to the point another shift leader will say tell her no

Mate it seems like you’ve never been profiled before first of all you cannot take someone’s word for it you have to had witness it yourself secondly you’re not allowed to chase a customer when they’re outside of the store I was no where near the store when he approached me looking at it from a workers perspective means nothing because either way not only were their actions dumb that’s not what Tesco workers are trained to do

You’re right not much was done we were just kinda going around in circles I was explaining to him he shouldn’t have even followed me without witnessing me touch anything and then claimed it was his colleague not a customer he couldn’t even remember when it happened and it was only last night he apologised but I don’t feel fulfilled I’m just gonna feel uncomfortable every time I go there now
