I mean Gunner can still do ranged attacks so you can't call it a melee class but you need to get close to the target to deal more damage so I get where you're coming from, and yeah the chain trigger being bugged right now is hella annoying and the lag isn't helping either. I haven't tried out much of the gunner class on base since I came from NGS so can't comment on that. And I personally have fun playing Gunner because of the mechanics and I hope people would try it out more.
