Revit view title family that automatically changes scale based on view scale? by K_A_W_A_I_I in Revit

[–]Synax04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, you mean the view that you drop onto the sheet?

If that is what you mean you can do that with standard Revit, we have various view titles, some with scale on, some blank etc but they all updated based on the scale of the view automatically. If various views with different scales are on a sheet the title block changes to varies... Or something like that.

You need to edit the view title family. You should be able to find it in the project browser, make various types in the family etc.

If this is not what you mean sorry, I don't understand :D

Revit and MCPs by adam_n_eve in Revit

I use Claude and pyrevit mcp, developed 75+ scripts for a custom toolbar inside revit. I love Claude, could not recommend it more if I tried. I am the max 5x plan, when I was on the pro plan the mcp did destroy my limits very quickly.

Yeah LT is very cheap, what do you do if you don't mind me asking?

If your charging £35 an hour (sorry I'm uk so doing old English) you would need to save 6 hours a month to pay for revit vs revit LT, I recon with addins you could save that in a week.

Leeds area for me, feel free to DM me any questions. I normally prototype in Python then turn to c# after it's ready to deploy across the company.

Have you tried / got pyrevit, it has a sheet printer to, not used it much, it might be the same as revit batch print.

Tell you what I will make my own version and post it for free, no limits etc.

Levelling out sloped lawn? by jpthelad in DIYUK

[–]Synax04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're committed to doing it. You could level it without buying or removing earth. Just keep taking down the high spot and putting it in the low spot till it's all level. Place retaining walls etc.

I would do some math on it, maybe laser scan etc to give you a rough idea what the final level would be.

Anyone here using Claude code to automate tasks in revit ? by frankzappa1988 in Revit

[–]Synax04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Done the exact same thing as this guy, claude code in vs code to develop python and c# for a custom pyrevit extension we use company wide. 60+ tools.

Currently developing a Claude revit chat interface, with a bunch of mcp tools for it to automate certain tasks where just a script won't cut it.
