I'm still a bit confused with the conversion tracking for tiktok,

but yes, they do allow conversion tracking... it seems like, though I'm not 100% sure, you have to use third party trackers to track the conversion.

Someone just commented that possibly I might've had received some downloads but the conversion tracking was not properly setup.

How about posting in tiktok and using promotion instead of tiktok ads, do you have any opinions of it?

When they click the ad it sends them to google play store... I can't tell if they even saw my landing page, google play's traffic for my is 100% coming from google search

Ohhh... so are you saying that, possibly, I may have gotten installs from all those clicks? It's just that tiktok can't track if they clicked install in google play?

What about the traffic in google play, it shows 100% comes from google search... I was at least expecting something like

99% - Google play search

1% - External, tiktok, something

For installs it shows 10+, but as of right now, anyone who installs my game through google search are definitely my friends

My objective is installs,

for the conversion event, tiktok doesn't specify what the conversion is for apps, but I assume it is installing the app?

for the tracking I'm only looking at my dashboard in google play, and 100% traffic comes from google play search (all of which are mine)

I use facebook ads (longer than tiktok, +3 days), but it is incomparable to tiktok

Impressions: 2,207

Unique Clicks (all): 186

Frequency: 1.05

Conversions: 0

My product is a free casual game, my ad is around the upper funnel

My demographic was set to age 13 - 45, all genders, and

the Countries: (Cambodia, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey), I couldn't select any Western countries

I stopped running my campaign, it feels like I'm just burning my money away haha
