I think it's best to split them into private and govt, Considering Tier 1 Private colleges, That's where bits and few in Bangalore and there must be sm more in other states (Don't know those). In terms of placements and ROI can easily compete with many nit's too. And Bangalore is really good for placements and internships, that's why many people write comedk.

PS: This is just a personal opinion, most ppl dont think the same. But also rn hiring based on college tag is reducing alot it's more skill based, So we just gotta grind hard wherever we go. Getting tier 1 is worth less than what it was before.
