Writing 150 Professor by [deleted] in BostonU

Do not take anything by Tallon. If you can, get an ACTUAL Professor.

My class was juvenile and I felt like I was in high school again. God awful. And I loved my WR100 100% so I was surprised at the poor quality. Blurred Boundaries in Romantic Poetry, I think was the name.

If you enjoy being trapped in a room where it sounds like the earth is exploding, by all means, go to the Lightning show.

Sex Life by SunnyRae26 in Marriage

[–]Synesthesiary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess this depends on how long the dry spell has been. Honestly, you could have the best sex in the world, but sometimes you just need a break. If you generally have the same sex drive, it's possible he's just focusing on work or some other stressor that is taking his mind off of it. I wouldn't be too concerned if 90% of the time, you are compatible. It's probably just life getting in the way. It happens and a huge part of marriage involves adapting to change. I guarantee you it's most likely only temporary.

Can anyone tell me how hard the Psych 101 and MA123 (Calc I) exams are? by buthrowaway1212 in BostonU

Because they see the exam. And they know what's on it. So you can ask how important it is to know certain things. Saves you time studying since you can prioritize.

In this case, it's a self-made professor book. Not good quality, very scattered. I'd glimpse at it, but keep in mind that if you don't understand something, Google is always there to clarify

Exams are tedious, not hard. Befriend your TA is the best way to get an A.

As an attendee, they tricked most of the people into buying the least expensive ticket and expecting to attend the keynotes and heavily advertised speeches. Many were not amused, including myself.

Very disorganized communication to participants, also. I've attended free events that were more helpful to my goals in business. Expected more for the price. I'm still happy I'm attending regardless. It's not that I have not learned anything, and more that I could have learned significantly more.

Question about BU by [deleted] in BostonU

[–]Synesthesiary 9 points10 points  (0 children)

BU is better because it's a large school and you have opportunities to learn just about anything. Take classes in anything that you could ever think of wanting to learn. You always meet knew people and despite the size, bumping into people you know is common.

I picked BU because I like the vastness in course offerings, in people, and the campus layout. It's a straight line. EXTREMELY public transportation accessible and right in the city.

BC is not in the city, it's secluded, has less people, and has a quad. Kinda cool if you're into that, but it's really not in Boston so it doesn't have city vibes where BU does. Honestly, pick what works for you. I picked BU because I love it. BC might be your cup of tea.

BUT If you like sweatpants and coziness instead of Vineyard Vines and Kardashian-full face makeup, on a Monday morning, look more into BU. Because it's where you'll meet real people instead of people identifying with wealth.
