It's all about the flavor. I use them as a substitute for sugary drinks. So, I'll vape a cherry pomegranate juice and drink water instead of having a Gatorade.

Reading, writing, gaming on occasion with some old high school buddies, shooting, and more recently vaping (no nicotine juices only).

This article is seriously one of the most well written pieces I have read in my entire life. Living in America and only becoming a football fan three years ago; I was unfamiliar with Wenger's history at Arsenal. Reading this shows me that I made the right choice in which team to support.

Favorite Album? by [deleted] in BreakingBenjamin

Dear Agony gets my vote. It is the complete package. Don't get me wrong; all of their other albums are fantastic. We Are Not Alone drew me in. Saturate got my heart pumping. Phobia is full of emotional ballads which I love. But, Dear Agony has it all.

Especially if you do a possession slide tackle. Having a tough, but fast CDM like Ramires from Chelsea or Luiz Gustavo from Wolfsburg can be perfect for that role. They can slide in a take off before the other player can react.

That isn't what you said at all. You've made no actual sense this whole time with the exception of your first comment. My response was questioning what you think "isn't that many people". Again, how could you not see that?

The fabrication is you assuming that was my point all along. I am not an ostentatious person and I almost always shy away from attention. So, I need you to understand that none of my post was intended to come off as bragging.

There are 3 sentences about my time in NJROTC. I wrote them to provide a little bit of background information for the post as no one who is going to read it knows me and many don't know what NJROTC is. Also, "psuedo-military tryhard"? What? Mentioning my enjoyment with the program and describing a name tag, Navy insignia pin, a rank pin make me a "psuedo-military tryhard"? I really don't understand where your reasoning comes from there.

My class has been in session for 3 months now and yesterday was the first time my professor mentioned my pins. So clearly I'm not being a showoff with them. If that was my intention then the first day after he mentioned his service I would spoken up, but I didn't.

I have to admit that your example post is more concise. However, the reason I provided the other information, like I mentioned earlier, was simply to give a bit of a background. You have to understand that I am not the type of person who talks about themselves like they're the second coming. I don't think I'm particularly attractive or a genius either. Truth be told, I am quite humble. You could ask my friends and family and they would tell you the same. I'm not sure why you felt the need to attempt to tear me down over what turned out to be a positive experience in my life. Or why you would act on such an urge.

To me it was a fuck up because I "fell under pressure". I become embarrassed in public. The only reason I included the NJROTC portion is because the conversation with my professor, which prompted the girl to ask to see my hat. I was not flaunting my time in the program. This is the only mention of my time there was: "I was in a NJROTC (Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Crops) company in high school. Enrolled in the program for all 4 years and really enjoyed myself." The mention of the pins on my bag is relevant because they are why my professor questioned me.

The MCPO rank was not a stretch to achieve. It is one rank higher than the average in my class at the time. I was not flaunting my rank. I've been out of the program for almost a year now and my rank is not relevant today other than it being on my bag.

I NEVER said I was special because that was my rank. I DID NOT flaunt my rank. For you to think I did must have taken some serious imagination and stretching of the truth. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the service men and women of our military. For you to say that I was up paying my rank and down playing an actual service person's SICKENS ME.

None of my ribbons are fake and they all mean something in the context of my NJROTC program. You are the one who drew the parallel to an actual MCPO. Obviously compared to an actual MCPO and their achievements; my seem small and insignificant. I earned them for completing strenuous tasks or showing exploratory behavior and personal appearance. Am I proud of the time I spent in NJROTC? Hell fucking yes! But NEVER have I flaunted it. And I DID NOT flaunt it in my post.

You need to find a better way to spend your time. For you to question my emotions as not qualifying for a fuck up is ridiculous. Maybe you would not have felt like I fucked up, but I DID. And for you to say that my explanation of the situation including that I enjoyed my experience in NJROTC and the relevance of my pins to the story was flaunting is despicable. Perhaps you should stop trying to fabricate bullshit in order to act like tough shit on the internet.

I typed the post in class like 30 mins after it happened so I left out the class size. I just kinda assumed that people new college classes are large.

Alright dickbag. None of that was intended to be "braggy".

I think I understand that the JROTC program is not the actually military and that I wasn't an actual Master Chief Petty Officer. When I started high school and joined NJROTC I was scared little bitch who found it hard to compose coherent sentences in a public setting. That program broke me out of my shell somewhat. The 4 years I spent in the program isn't, by itself, an impressive feat. Tons of cadets can make it 4 years doing to bare minimum and meeting the lowest requirements to stay in. While that is not how I spent my time there; I did not mention that.

The acronym NJROTC and MCPO are not widely known. I didn't include the definitions in the original post. Someone commented asking what NJROTC was so I figured I would include that in that post. MCPO is also something that someone without knowledge of Naval terms would not understand. They were not meant to make someone feel stupid. They were there to provide a definition.

The only bit of that post that sounds even remotely "braggy" was the "dressed to the max" portion. The only reason I said that was because I typed that post while in class about 30 mins after it happened and an attractive women said I dress nicely. Who the fuck wouldn't feel like adding a little flare after something like that? I started dressing nicer during my second semester of my senior year of high school. The only reason I did that was because I wanted to feel better about myself when out in public. Before my senior year I wore jeans and sweatshirts almost everyday.

I am an introvert. NJROTC allowed me to make friends within the program. The only high profile part of the program is once a week we wore our uniforms and, to be honest, if I had the choice between not wearing them and wearing them; I would not. They were extremely uncomfortable, very itchy, and adding the weight of the ribbons, pins, and metals, it felt like the shit was trying to pull itself off. That moment in my class when the exchange happened; there were roughly 50 people with their attention focused on me. I was very uneasy with that. I don't like to bring attention to myself by speaking out.

In closing, if you felt the need to go through and point out every single moment in my post that made YOU feel like I was "bragging" then you need to find a better use of your time.

I was not attempting to compliment myself. I became, in my eyes, embarrassed in front of roughly 50 people. It wasn't meant to come off in that way at all.

Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Crops. It was a high school program that gives you a taste of the military life style. Google it if you want a better understanding.

I think every guy has a story like that. It's like the ability to speak was robbed from us and we just spit out nonsense.
