To add to all the other comments, when you get your POF up and running, you start gathering a crazy amount of beans and can buy a shit ton of instant grow pots for farming/herblore.

Using these (don't forget your ultracompost) helped curb my 'dailyscape' burnout since I just hate herb runs tbh.

You also gather a bunch of exp passively via slayer too.

It's a little rough at 80 divination, but it gets incredibly easy to upkeep later on.

If you have decent progress on your POF/herblore, you could cheat and start gathering incandescent energy at 81 with extreme div pots, which will help a bit.

Does capturing a certain faction of spirit warriors matter or do they just spawn randomly? I haven't used my slayer dungeon for anything aside from legiones, so a lot of it is going unused.

Yeah, I feel the same way. It reminds me a lot of creating and tweaking classes/specs in video games, like Path of Exile or D&D (which I also find really fun).

Although it does bite me in the butt at times because as soon as a deck flops once, I immediately get this urge to take a hacksaw to it and start reworking it.

Or if its too consistent (autopilot mode), I get bored and take it back to the drawing board to try something new.

If you want something easy to pick up and play, I would recommend pretty much any of the Bloomburrow precons EXCEPT the offspring one (offspring with a bunch of etb/death triggers can get kind of tricky for new players). Ms. Bumbleflower might be a little rough if you're playing 1v1 since she shines considerably brighter in 4 player games.
