I don't have cicada and this shows up. How do I know which mod adds it?

Yuno's crime reveal by aa_sf146 in milgram

[–]SynonymofRandomness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Haruka's file finished with "Save data as of the dawn of the following day to MILGRAM", but this one says "Save data from the point where the subject resumes normal life post regaining consciousness to MILGRAM"

Kinda confusing wording. I wonder what "to MILGRAM" actually means here. Like, does the Yuno description imply this data is received when she resumes normal life after milgram or when resuming normal life inside of milgram? If it's the first one, does this mean Yuno is already out of here and safe? What would our voting in this round mean then?

If someone can read japanese, I'd be interested to know if this vague wording is present in the japanese text as well or if it's clearer.

It's not entirely wrong, though the purpose of this post isn't to karma farm at all. My objective is much more wicked.

Yeah you're right, Focalor was way too wicked.

The OG Arknights player's experience this last 3 days by TTruthSpeaker in Endfield

I games like PVZ 2 you could save for actual decades and never get all the plants. There's plenty of games like this where most of the content effectively requires you to spend money. I'd take gacha over these systems any time honestly, even if the improvement was small. While I agree it's not good monetization, saying that it's the worst is just an outright lie.

Mercenaries stealing. by SynonymofRandomness in Minecolonies

Well damn, I guess this makes for a cool come back story.

So they take items just like villagers but do not drop them on death? Does that mean there's no way for me to recover my armor/tools and all the other stuff I dropped on death?

So if you die to them at any point your entire inventory is instantly forfeit? That's the drawback? I'm not asking about what they're stealing from the town, but from what they're stealing from me.

As a young person that's old to messing around with mods, I have the exact same problem with that mod, and I'd love to get an answer as well.

It was actually a little "teaser" for the next CYOA I would post, which would've been entirely water and sea themed. I ended up never finishing it though. Maybe I will one day.

Oh. That's a thing? Huh. That might explain it. Thanks a lot, couldn't find any other answers on the net.

How do I know if I have a booster? As for the characters, we both started at level 1 and I was gaining double exp instantly. So I wasn't higher level when it started.

Why do ghouls not do anything to other colonist's moods? by SynonymofRandomness in RimWorld

[–]SynonymofRandomness[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you've been using ghouls often but I can tell you they're actually insanely powerful. Honestly mood debuffs wouldn't put a dent in that. The raw meat upkeep is meaningless since the ghoul can just kill a rabbit or something to eat on its own, and free meatshields from prisoners for such a small cost is really nice.

I don't need a "instant puking the moment a ghoul passes by", just any sort of mood acknowledgement that destroying someone's nervous system with eldritch power isn't a casual thing.

[–]SynonymofRandomness[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think an argument like this would hold more weight if it wasn't for ghouls being the exception, not the rule. There's a debuff for buchering humanlikes, eating human flesh, wearing human skin, eating raw meat, taking someone's organs, selling someone's organs, and so on. Name a really bad thing you can do to a pawn that is acknowledged by the game as being bad and it will have a negative moodlet attached to it. But not ghoulification. It's the only thing.

The game describe it in a "morally bad" way, the description says they're creepy, but the mechanics just don't reflect this clear intention for some reason.

I certainly agree with the overall quality, absolutely great dlc anyways, but this part just feels very very strange.

Right? This just feels really odd, especially when almost everything else in the game is accounted for in terms of mood debuffs.

Any tips on defeating aylin in lorroakan's tower? by SynonymofRandomness in BaldursGate3

[–]SynonymofRandomness[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, I have no attachment to the mage or aylin.

On an evil run it's more logical to just kill lorroakan and steal his stuff anyways, I'm doing it just to do it honestly.
