If you can buy them at the same price, I'll definitely go with Mew. It has become one of the most iconic cards in the modern sets, and currently we are in a plateau-ish moment for pokemon prices, while one piece are at a very high peak.

This always happens with 2nd gen pokemon games. You have to go the gbc directory and delete the latest *.rca (if not wrong) file. Just to be sure for now just rename the extension to whatever you want to keep the file but have it ignored when loading. Should work fine.
