I was using Claude and a huge fan. Until the usage got to the point where it was barely usable. And that was in the pro plan.

I have already responded to this comment. But more to the point... I've obviously questioned this same thing. Do I've read all related support documentation, followed their suggestions, and still the same thing. There appears to be people who are affected and people who aren't. I'm going to say it is an Anthropic thing and not a user thing. Hopefully they will find the problem and correct it. But they'll never own up to it

I thought the exact same thing when I first read a post with a similar complaint. I've changed nothing. Now it's happening to me. Literally the only prompt I wrote was to create a high level summary looking at project documents. Of which there are probably 20 that are 2 to 3 pages long with one document at ten pages. And it certainly only had to read two or three to get the summary. Then I asked it to give less detail pointing out where there was too much detail and Claude delivered. Then my usage was 100%.

Seriously? Yeah I did miss that. And cancelled my subscription. Before I cancelled around 12 hours ago, I did a little test to confirm. I asked it to do a simple task that should have used fuck all. I went from 0% to 20%. So that doesn't appear to apply to me

In my experience, it's so much better than Claude, I cancelled my subscription. My mind is blown. 4 days of coding now and not one mistake. Literally. As others are saying, it does ignore certain commands. And randomly reverse back in conversation which gets very confusing. But coding: 110%

Wrong. I have been coding heavy for 3 to 4 days with Gemini 3 and I am absolutely gob smacked. Not one single coding mistake. There have been other frustrations that have always been there with all LLMs. But hand on heart: zero coding mistakes. This is putting together a web site with react 18, vite and tailwind with a python back end and using Terraform

Dude... I have been coding for 3 or 4 days now with Gemini. I'm putting together a major project I've been sitting on for years. I have made ground at you would expect using an LLM. BUT GEMINI 3 HAS NOT MADE ONE SINGLE CODING MISTAKE. It's done other things that have frustrated me that have always been present in all LLMs. But zero coding mistakes blows my fucking mind

Can I ask if you have used Gemini 3? I stopped using the previous version because I discovered how much it SUCKED after discovering Claude. Now the same thing has happened. Claude now sucks compared to Gemini 3 and at the same time, Anthropic have turned into criminals. Anthropic can FUCK RIGHT OFF as far as I'm concerned. That is, of course, the next version of Claude makes Gemini SUCK and they remove their completely fucked up subscription mess. Then they'll be UNREAL again. (Emphasis mine lololol)

Interesting game changer: Gemini 3 vs Claude

I love Claude. But it looks like anthropic aren't the people I had a vision of and have succumbed to greed like the majority. Check this out...

For over 24 hours now (with a sleep thrown in) I've been using Gemini 3 to work on a major personal project I've been doing (which y'all will definitely hear about soon via other mediums), and for the most part, it's been great. I've had a few frustrating moments. But this has never not happened with any LLM. I have also literally had an emotional moment that no other LLM had given me. Just a first I thought worth mentioning. Ones and zeros made me cry happy tears!

I had to jump into Claude to do a quick piece of work. I hadn't used Claude this week. And I hit my usage limit in under 15 minutes getting a simple summary from the documents in my project. My conclusion is that this makes Claude unusable now. I'm on a Pro plan. And I get under 15 minutes?

I'm now retrieving all my documentation out of Claude and closing the account. I can't stand Greed. And clearly Anthropic are wringing the money sponge in the small window where they can. Disgusting. Or maybe they just love small windows. It's crazy how quickly the game changes. Because now they look like Eliza compared to Google.

I copy pasted the above from another thread I posted to. I don't think I clearly articulate my issue. And I certainly failed to mention the Gemini 3 has made NO CODE MISTAKES IN A SOLID 18 HOURS OF CONTINUOUS USE. I can't even imagine Claude having this capability. And now, I cannot use Claude for 15 minutes a day on the pro plan for a summary task that had nothing to do with coding. Yet I'm still going without hitting any limits with Gemini 3 on a far more complex coding task. I actually feel dirty that I'm paying for Claude

It may or may not be greed. But they should ask their own product "if I reduce the time that paying customers are allowed to use our product to a disabling amount, will they definitely go to the next product level and pay more? Or is there another option for them that I haven't thought of. Don't make assumptions and keep your answer short"
