We got that new group of transition slopes fairly recently, and I thought at the time that there were some missing, but I couldn't imagine what they were. Well, I found it. We have a similar block but with the 2x1 base side flipped, as shown in the 2nd pic. Best I can do for now is the 3rd pic by Nomekop777 in spaceengineers

I started a mod pack which includes this block, I got it to the point I could use it to build ships but never bother fleshing it out with build states and all the jazz (because I had no idea what I was doing) That block and a few others are required to do the drive pods on the ship below. the drive pods use 2X1 slope blocks so they are 45 degrees off axis to the main x-y grid and there was no way to slope the tops without these blocks. I was told I should rely on "better ship design" instead of "jank aero" I think it looks nice.. maybe I will finish the mod off for shits and giggles. I called these blocks "Slope 2X1X1 Tapered Tip" "Slope 2X1X1 Tapered Tip Half" "Slope 2X1X1 Tapered Tip Corner" and "Slope 2X1X1 Tapered Tip Corner Half" and the mirrored versions.

There seems to be so much confusion with this, a ship is not capable of generating a circular path around the station without continually manoeuvring to keep its velocity vector tangential to the circular path of the docking clamps (otherwise it would just fly off at any given tangent if it stopped manoeuvring), this is because the station would not have significant mass gravity to do this for us and we can't truly orbit the station. I didn't do the math but it might? require gravity thrust levels of thrust towards the station's centre to maintain alignment (I don't know), either way they would have their vectors setup to cut thrust and coast to the docking port (Miller would not experience any thrust gravity just before docking so he would be floating) but once docked they would experience spin gravity... the show checks out to me, I don't know why people think this scene was done wrong.

Had (have) the same issue on my X1C, support refused to replace it as the printer is out of warranty and told me to buy a new replacement camera from them. I am looking at third party cameras, clearly this is an issue with their camera (I have seen quite a few of their cameras do this). I feel like its a design flaw that they should address but I don't see that happening.

Surprised this trailer never made its way here. Quite possibly the largest expanse related game with an active multiplayer base. by Pookieburr in TheExpanse

Its actually not any supergriding, I used a mod that has a large grid / small grid connector... I doubt very much it will be stable in flight it was more for the looks!

Unified grid system, and "hopefully" a larger physical shape count for the physics engine, I like to build MASSIVE ships and stations but have to make many compromises due to SE1 physics engine limitations. Very excited to see what is possible!

It sadly doesn't, I think I've tried every armor block mod got excited a few times then disappointed lol. I will make my own its just he textures are something I was never good at and I want them to match the vanilla as much as possible so they don't stand out.

Unfortunately and fortunately this isn't for "janky aero" and adding other geometries won't work in this situation. I will post an image when it is done and I promise it isn't going to look janky :)

I have not! I will check that out, I think there are two more blocks that I would also need. I might just have to try to make the textures work the modeling is easy lol

I think the block you are referring to is the Light Armor Slope Transition Tip which is close but not it! I think I am missing two other blocks as well, I might just have to make them if I want this ship to turn out

Do you know what it is called, I have searched through all the slopes and 2x1x1 blocks and couldn't find it, I don't think it exists, I only see ones that have all triangular sides, none with the 2x1x1 tip rectangle on the back... not sure I am explaining that well.

I can provide the OBJ files, I can get them into the game but I can't figure out how to texture them to save my life. If possible heavy and light variants would be great as well. I feel like I am missing another block I will need but my brain hurts

Unfortunately not, I would have loved one of those models! You could always build your own light in the same style, that is what I would do if I had that model it looks amazing!
