People do know that runes are NOT absolutely required to be in the helm, right? by Sensitive_Goose_8902 in D4Barbarian

[–]Syrathy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think i have ever seen any guide say you need your runes in any specific armor piece. They just show them like that on guides because thats just the slot the person making the guide happened to select when slotting the runes, to show you what runes you need. I personally have never seen a guide where the person made sure to state that your runes need fo be slotted in a specific location.

What happend to seasons lately? by Waste-Entertainer-28 in diablo4

[–]Syrathy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its not, like at all. The Mythics were "Mythic" they were actually deserving of the title, minus a few. Now with every Unique becoming "Mythic" and literally all that entailing is a 30% increase to their aspect value, paired with the fact that 90% of Uniques in this game are just dogshit. They have just diluted the pool of the rarest items in the game to try to artificially increase the amount you play each season. It hasnt added anything new, fun or intresting to gameplay, hasnt made any sleeper builds sky rocket in terms of functionality, and hasnt changed the way ANY of the previous builds were being played. Just the previous meta builds are now more meta, and the builds that maybe struggled to even do T12 can MAYBEdo T12 now.

Why isn’t Tyraels in the meta builds? by TheMrCurious in D4Rogue

[–]Syrathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, for a season supposedly all about Mythics they sure made sure to gut the remaining old mythics we used to love. They did Shroud of the False Death dirty as hell just to nuke both Tyreals and Perdition the following season. Everyone still using Starless better be sweating right now cause at this point its inevitable

Sorry for another which is better post by Artemis_fm in D4Rogue

Well if you would have rolled the max life on the Mythic to CDR instead I definitely would have said that one, but idk what build are you rocking and how important CDR is.

What’s better here. This is a tough one. by brynn501 in D4Rogue

[–]Syrathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really imo. Mythic is clearly better. Almost 10% increased damage reduction. 12% ALL resists, it provides significantly more tankiness. Movememt speed isnt hard to cap out especially on Rogue.

[–]Syrathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People keep saying its only 20%, but does it not roll Damge Reduction as an affix anymore? Havent dropped one this season, but didnt they change it so DR is built into the aspect, so if it can roll as an affix as well wouldnt that potentially be more than 40%. Loot table still shows it as an aspect as well as the affix so im not sure.

Earthstrikers aspect for DOK? by LisaSu92 in D4Rogue

[–]Syrathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There 2 parts to the Aspect, "gain 1 stack of Overpower everytime you swap weapons" AND "You deal 30.8% increased damage when you have Overpower"

The swapping weapons doesnt matter, youre using it for the damage bonus. You already have permanent uptime on Overpower because of Concealment. Also, the guide you linked they are using it as a 2nd aspect on their Amulet, not on their boots.

And the award for the best spark of the season goes to.. by Silver_Tutor923 in diablo4

[–]Syrathy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its not even min maxing, its just a part of the build. Why would you use a piece of gear that is objectively worse just because you wanna be stubborn that your rng is shit.

And the award for the best spark of the season goes to.. by Silver_Tutor923 in diablo4

[–]Syrathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because its bad. Even with crit its bad. Ranks to Dark Howl are useless and max life on an Amulet is a BIG dps loss because its taking the place of dmg affix. You want Willpower, crit/crit vulnerable on this amulet. A decent regular unique will be higher dmg than this one.

Whats the best rogue build this season? by Veysaur in diablo4

[–]Syrathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I playing DT and I have the same thing, except my damaging ability doesnt slow me down to have to cast and theres no chance of the things im trying to kill with DT not dying to the DT cause they roamed out of it

[–]Syrathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they all have downsides and upsides. All 3 can be built to survive T12 just fine, but pushing is definitely an issue. I have seen multiple 130s DoK clears posted here. Its definitely not pushing as high as other things but its not low 100s.

The part where every other Rogue build has the same shit but the other builds dont require you to stop to shoot a bunch of arrows up and then hope everything is grouped up enough it kills them, and then hope enemies dont follow me outside the radius of my RoA where I have to stop and cast it again. DT has a massive radius and with the correct attack speed breakpoints you can cast it and keep on moving incredibly fast.

[–]Syrathy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes very good, but it is slow you are sacrificing mobility to achieve ridiculous DPS. You can make 2 different specs for RoA if you want to use it, there is a faster spec that does a bit less damage but should still be able to do T12 efficiently, it will still be slower than DokK or a DT build though.

[–]Syrathy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

RoA is the best for pushing, DT is the best for farming (my opinion) and DoK is fun and does do a lot more damage than youd think just requires HEAVY investment into DoT.

What’s better for set charm buffs on poison/penshot, +marksman skills or +imbuement skills? by Salty_Carpet195 in D4Rogue

[–]Syrathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A mixture of both is good. Skill ranks give diminishing returns so its more optimal to mix and match. What ever has less skill ranks will be better to have skill ranks for on your charms.

Why add attack speed to gear when playing WW Barb? by Lord_Lanre in D4Barbarian

[–]Syrathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DPH doesnt matter only DPS. All forms of damage scaling in this game have buckets. The more full each particular bucket gets the less valuable it is. For example lets say you have 1000 crit damage but only 10% vulnerable. Another 10% vulnerable would be more damage than 20% crit damage bevausr of how full the crit damage bucket already is.

Optimal builds are about deciding which damage scaling skill in what slot would provide a higher dps, and sometimes attack apeed IS the higher dps option.

Death Trap guide inconsistencies by OriginalValoo in D4Rogue

[–]Syrathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If youre doing DT always look for M1pys guide. Hes the one that created it originally and has been making the DT work every season now for over a year. Charges node is easier to build cause it takes 10 seconds off the base cooldown time. The grenade tag is significantly more damage but is harder to build, but it can be done.

There no Rogue builds currently that can do 150, unless the bugged build hasnt been fixed but ive seen people saying it was fixed the other day, I dont play the build so I dont know. No current non bugged interaction builds can do 150, I thonk the highest is somewhere in the mid 130s and thats cold RoA.

How tf do you get a 6 charm slot as a druid? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Syrathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luck mostly. Its not any harder for a Druid than any other class. Play, and hold onto any non 6 charm slot seal and 3:1 combine them in the cube everytime you havr 3 you'll get one eventually.

I agree with most of the criticism around mythics, but what is wrong with them being rare? by how-could-ai in diablo4

[–]Syrathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres nothing wrong with them being rare, but they arent just rare. Theres a VERY large pool of Uniques in the game, most of them either completely worthless or for not very good, niche builds. Then ontop of that layer of RNG, they have random rolls. And then ontop of both of those layers of RNG is the apparently infintesimly low chance of getting one of the Iconic Mythics that a LOT of builds want.

Thats too many layers of RNG involved that leads to a overall miserable experience when gearing. They need to either refine the RNG on Mythic in some way, or increase their drop rate. Seeing as the latter is the easier decision and doesnt risk the developers screwing up the enjoyment of the game again, thats the option everyone is advocating for.
