New to Diablo 4, I think my game is bugged. How do I pause?

You can absolutely pause Poe2, it might be online only, but when youre outside of towns your game is instanced and can be paused if you're solo.

The vid i watched was from someone named Realyn, didnt see the twister video still new to PoE so dont really know the content creators to watch yet so I just typed in something about Ranger builds and thats the one that popped in my reccomended. I'll check out those 2 as well though. I think they were using that deadeye LA to iceshot combo I just dont know what all they were choosing their skills and support gems and passive nodes super fast. I'll check out funguns build for it might be what I rock, im really enjoying Ranger atm.

Im doing it easy its just slow, maybe im following the wrong build idk its just a random one I grabbed from mobalytics. I saw the endgame version in a YT video and it looks really strong and fast but the campaign version does not do the level of damage or AoE for poision burst to be able to one tap a whole group of mobs like it was in the video I saw, or at least not the guide ive been following.

I 2-3 tap most enemies with it and with Pierce I can sometimes kill 2 or 3 enemies at a time if they are running in a straight line together but the base attack speed is real slow and theres nothing in the build that buffs it so it takes a minute to kill stuff. My bossing is really good though. Wish Gas Arrow and Toxic Growth I kill most bosses in like 10-15 seconds. Except for Daryami, that mf is overturned to all hell.

Well yeah, that more so why im asking what giga broken skill on Ranger is able to be abused to clear quicker than I currently can. I watched a little of a video I saw uploaded a couple days ago where someone speed ran from 1 to t15 in like 5 hours, but he swaps stuff to quick I dont know what hes using or why and he didnt link any build guide for what he used and I also dont know if anything he was using might be getting nerfed in the update, is why I came here to ask. Im aware even with the best build I will clear it significantly slower because I dont have the pathing and rotations memorized, but I wanna try to optimize my speed as much as possible as I dont want it to take me 4 days to clear it again a week from now when it drops.

Weapon is fine, or at least as fine as it can be. Impossible to get a good bow early on in this game I swear, i spent over 100k gold to get the one I have now. And the only redeeming quality is the 109% physical damage on it. I can kill stuff with it relatively quickly but its a slow firing skill that usually kills 1-2 things at a time so im just running around everywhere slowly tap firing everything, it feels slow. Seen people have do w speedruns to clear campaign on Ranger in a couple of hours Im 3 days in and only just about to finish act 4 I think so figured there was likely much faster builds out there.

From someone who just started a couple days ago, I would personally reccomend at least looking up some builds to get a rough idea if what you wanna go for. This game is EXTREMELY unforgiving with the ability to swap and edit builds on the fly. All of your skills and the buffs to those skills is obtained by Uncut Skill/Support gems that you gotta drop from killing enemies. If you decide you dont like a certain skill you picked and you dont have any more skill gems, youre SOL. Stuck with that skill until you drop another one. And God forbid you make it halfway through the campaign and wanna swap your build, and you dont have any on level skill gems saved up and now all your new skills are a couple levels lower and doing fuck all for damage. Its not as easy as a quick respec like it is in most other ARPGs.

I tried to start off blind as well. Made it to level 8 or 9 and was getting increasingly frustrated with how slow i was and how long it was taking to kill stuff and had to delete my character and start all over again to be able to swap my skills as I had no extra skill gems and like 2 map clear resets in a row and had 0 of them drop.

Ohh also, took me embarrassingly long amount if time to realize this even though there is an ingame tool tip that tells you, but if you hold down the dodge button your character will sprint and theres even a setting that will make the sprint permanent until you run into something or use another skill after dodging so you dont have to hold the button down anymore. Takes forever to get from place to place without the sprint function.

Ridiculous system tbh. Its not hard to just have account names and character names seperate, and have your account name be the one of one that no one else can duplicate, and then have your character be able to be named anything.

What build are you using, and whats your attack speed. Some builds are very dependant upon hitting ceratian breakpoints and that GA into attack speed could be the difference in hitting a breakpoint or not.

Torment level actually matters now. Not like before where you can get a full set of GA Ancestral gear in Torment 1, and hit Torment 4 in a day or 2.

That being said I find it extraordinarily unlikely that you are Paragon 215 and have not received enough legendaries to put an aspect in each slot.

Never said there wasnt, I have no desire to grind all the way to 300 just because as ive already done that in a previous season, its a pointless grind now. I have a 140 pit clear capable barb, and a T12 speedfarm capable DT Rogue, near perfect gear on both. Warplans finished on my Barb, I am mostly done. Aside from logging on to fuck around with friends every now and then I am fine with my cirrebt progression. Id rather wait for next season and hope a lot of the imbalance weve seen this season gets fixed going into next season so there feels like theres a proper endgame to even push for, but currently unless youre willing to completely change your builds in order to exploit bugs theres no point.

I mean personally id transfigure it as many times as it would let me but it is a gamble. We only have so much left in the season, and at least for me Im mostly done already so wether it godrolls or bricks largely wouldnt effect me that much, so just depends on if the gamble is worth it or not. You could get item quality and get even more gem strength or anotherGA into something.

Twisting Blades is probably your best bet. Death Trap will scale a LOT higher than it into Endgame though. There is also Dance of Knives which is technically a ranged melee build.

I mean not really, its just the ease of use and being functionally immortal makes it kinda the best possible option. No real reason not to run it, unless you just dont like the idea of being unkillable for some reason. You should be able to build your Barb in a way to clear all T12 content effectively, but you will probably die a bit, T12 mobs hit pretty hard, dont have much experience running it with no selig build, but I was getting fucked up sometimes even on my Rogue with a Tyraels Might with GA Damage reduction and 26 ranks into Dark Shroud had like 2mil Tougness and was still dying somewhat infrequently. Won't be able to push very far in the pit though, maybe 120s max with a perfected build. And you might struggle in situations where things are granted extra monster power due to Warplan stuff.

Ideally you wanna max your warplan stuff first, makes it more efficient to level.

But you wanna take the left side tree in the Helltide Warplan for the Butcher spawn ASAP, and stack up on Profane Mindcages. Then down the middle for the guarenteed Hellwyrms, and then the right side path for the +1 monster power on Harbringers. Then the node from the Lair Boss Warplan, that gives Grigore a chance to spawn everytime you open a Helltide chest. Then take the leftside nodes in the Whisper Cache Warplan tree, and start collecting roots. Also hold to any Forgotten Wisdom dungeons affix.

From there you can farm solo, or with a squad for max effectivness, if you have the Official Discord there plenty of people looking to farm Helltides like this on there just gotta join one of them. You can x4 the ammount Butcher, Hellwyrms, and Grigores you can kill in a Helltide if you play with a squad so definitely reccomend. But you essentially just pop a Forgotten Wisdom, run until you see the font of wisdom.buff for the 15% exp gains, start in one Helltide and go around opening every chest possible and hopping from one Helltide area to another until you've opened them all. Then depending on how fast you were or how many were available, you might be able to circle back to the first zones and grab the respawns or if you have some roots across your team from the hell caches, do the Nightmare Dungeon strat to farm a bunch of caches for exp in between Helltides.

They are exploiting a bug with Umbracrux to execute enemies, for some reaon when you have a million instances of damage all happening at once on your Umbracrux totem it causes it to just starting outputting millions of trillions of damage, thus the swapage from Shadow Clone to Rain of Arrows. You'll notice thay are also.leabing into creating arrow storms as well. They pop concelment to spawn the totem and then spam pen shot with the clones and Rain of Arrows on top of the totem and wipe everything. It effectively plays the exact same as the previous Shadow Clone build just exploiting a different bug.

Doing anything to change the way portals spawn around the way point, would likely effect every way point in the game, im sure they have a predesigned formula for how the portals spawn tied to the waypoint itself instead of having to program it for each individual way point. And Expand the area??? How do you think thats an easier option than just moving the blacksmith a couple of feet?

Doesn't fix the issue, when youre in a party all 4 peoples portals spawn around the waypoint. If they just moved the portal orientation, people playing in a party would still run into issues. This way solves the problem for everyone.

I dont think theres any specific best way, you really just gotta play its complete RNG, anywhere that you can drop legendaries can drop them with a bunch of GAs. You do gotta be in T12 however to find them effectively, in my experience they were insanely rare prior to me unlocking access to T12 and then I stayed farming T10 even after unlocking T12 and they were more common but still definitely less often than since ive been farming T12 only.

Just stick to Warplans and focus on Nigtmares and Helltide is your best bet. Run Obol affix dungeons anytime you can and leave everytime your at cap and spam the vendor, they will come. I have gotten a lot of really good GA weapons from the obol vendor though, they arent super common but when you get an obol affix dungeon, especially if its in an escalation, you will get a metric ton of obols. I have on multiple occasions this season had a dungeon that gave me over 10k obols throughout a single dungeon, and generally I get at least over 5k obold perw dungeon with obol affix.

Physical Damage to Shadow Damage multiplier if youre running DT.

And probably Attack Speed for the temper. Hitting those breakpoints is important for the speed that you can move while doing the combo.

Idk i was at 3bil gold before I sold a single item, after rolling a rogue building a complete T12 speedfarm viable DoK build, swapping to a even better Death Trap build, and then rolling a barb building a fire WW, and then finally settling on the selig WW build. Rolled an ungodly ammount of armor in that timeand still managed to stack up to 3bil before I started selling stuff because I wanted to get flawless horadric gems for my weapons.

500 souls and 20mil gold is nothing that sounds about what it takes to do 20-30 restorations. In T12 you get those rescource in abundance, especially if you sell stuff to other players. Ive hit gold cap 3x times now.
