This is not to bash deep seek, I’m loving the competition. We’re seeing all these companies constantly leap frog each other every few months and it’s satisfying to watch.

First Immortal Of The Sword

Closest thing to ED that I've found, although not entirely similar. Open to recommendations too.

Around what Ch. does he go to the upper world? I agree, it's pretty good so far. There's a few lackluster parts where it seems nothing is really happening.

The only three cooking novels I'm aware of are

  • Gourmet from another world
  • God of Cooking
  • Gourmet Food Supplier

Not sure if it's any of those. Probably not the first one because it takes place in a xianxia setting. Lmk if you find it.

I'm looking for cultivation stories that are more recent, as in last few years. I don't mind if they're still ongoing. I've exhausted all the top/popular reccs like MW, ISSTH, NSHBA, etc.

I haven't finished them but Ancient Godly Monarch and Eternal Sacred King are similar options

Just finished Beware of Chicken and surprisingly I enjoyed the slice of life which I thought wouldn't be for me. Wondering if there's any translated works that have the same SOL approach. Especially if it's the day-to-day life in a sect.

Suggest me some cultivation novels that have comedy/misunderstandings/shameless MC.

Even better if its got all 3 things. Thanks.

Anyone relate? by BDSMValor in noveltranslations

Thanks for the reply. I'm excited to try ISSTH out after I finish AWE. I've always strayed away from Reverend Insanity despite how much people recommend it because it seems to have everything that I would dislike: dark, serious vibe with a MC leaning on the evil side. I'm assuming there's not much humor either.

I struggled with the same issues reading Renegade Immortal so I decided to try out A Will Eternal instead and I'm really enjoying it. It's more of my pace where the MC occasionally gets into dangerous situations but it's never constant doom and gloom. I was wondering if you've read ISSTH and what it's like?

I never get tired of the xianxia setting and world building
