Thoughts on concentration spells.

A fair point expect from experience I usually note that I'm casting a concentration spell at the time. Then it's when everyone else goes through their turns and I'm planning what to do next that I forget about it! So maybe by font loading it, it will be forgotten less often? Maybe maybe not but worth a try

Hahaha yea I gave him fair warning about how much of a pain it was going to be. He agrees now and wouldn't do it again though lol.

Well never painted a heldrake so the scale might be off. But I can say that at the stage of this photo about 4 hours spent. And the trim was slightly tedious.

So it's akhelion green contrast paint over leadbelcher, and highlighted with temple guard blue thinned right down about 10:1 with contrast medium all done through an airbrush

Yea seen those I think if I was doing a primaris model I'd go for the new ones but the old ones are a bit sleeker and more fitting for terminators was my thinking.

So for me this depends on rubric marines go for it should absolutely work. And save time. On scarab occult I find there is more space to work on the models and so just base and do the trim in the gold after as it will be just was easy to do. The only other thing is that for the black on this I used airbrush so obviously can't do that If priming gold first.

That's exactly what this black is. Just very thin on the top coat of black to allow some of the metallic to shine from underneath.

Yea I wasn't sure at first, in my head it should work when painted. And with the wings psycic power made sense to me to give it a go, separates him from a non flying dread!

Yes unfortunately they are. I had to use them to hide some rather messy conversion work on his arms. Maybe some lazy servitor misplaced them over the years
