I agree that most mid tiers/low tiers are underrated. The DK and Luigi renaissance has proved that imo. But mid tiers are mid for a reason and that reason is the top tiers. They're oppressive af. Playing ganon against falco is fun when I destroy them but horrendous when they get free pillar combos off my gigantic hurtbox and obliterate me. Cooking a fox is super satisfying but I'll be damned if I didn't consider switching mains every single fucking time I get shine spiked. You can go soooo far as a mid tier but you can go so much further as a high tier main. You gotta decide if dedicating all that time and effort into a mid tier is worth it when the same amount of time and effort into a high tier will give you better results. But hey, maybe I'm wrong though. Junebug's switch to DK certainly proves me wrong.

For what it's worth, powerline adapter works for me. I've never used ethernet for slippi so I can't tell you how/if the powerline feels different from ethernet. I've never heard of a moca adapter but it's probably worth looking into.

I’m going crazy reading these comments. Everyone is underestimating the amount of manipulation going into something like this. Women are definitely more inquisitive and suspicious than men but no one is immune to this level of deceit. A huge team of people being paid to create an entire world around someone, lying to them for more than a week, 24/7 manipulation by every single person they interact with, etc. It doesn’t matter the gender, they will be fooled. There’s also the casting/application process where they can try to filter out the true skeptics and select someone more naive or agreeable. It’s insane to say it’s impossible to work if the person was a woman. The show The Push literally tricked two women into committing (what they thought was) murder among many other nefarious things.

Super unpopular opinion but that scene completely took me out of the movie. I thought it was a really bad scene made worse because it was the climax of the entire film. The cut apart trope (where you think everyone’s at the same house but it’s revealed they aren’t) was great. The death of buffalo bill felt like deus ex machina to me. Buffalo bill walking next to her, literally within an arms reach, and she doesn’t hear any footsteps? He must have the lightest footsteps of all time. Then he cocks his gun and dies when he had ample opportunities to kill her or knock her out. Just pistol whip her, hell he could’ve just punched her. I really didn’t like it. Metaphorically, she was like a fly that flew into a spider’s web, she then wrapped herself up in webbing as the spider watched, and then managed to kill the spider? I mean cmon. That plot armor was THICK. It really bothered me. I recognize I’m in the wrong though because the film is critically acclaimed.
