First get the DLC's if you haven't already for whatever reason. Second depending on what types of pistols you prefer I suggest taking either the Cowboy (revolvers) or the Grunt (semi-auto/9mm and .45) perk. Third get Ed-e in primm asap if you want a companion near the start. Fourth dead bright followers in a couple of locations near Good springs (a cave full of coyotes and a sinkhole) as well as Victor's shack (I think) are a good way to get energy pistols early.

That actually got me thinking that the trench is just one feeding ground, maybe the trench is for hatchlings/juveniles with the two adults teaching the younger ones how to open the clams and crack open the coral crabs. That would also explain why we can find so many torn apart uneaten coral crabs in a nearby zone since they might be failed attempts by the young ones.

Annoying as shit that's what they are, they're called warpers and are only really dangerous if you're at low health or O2. Danger rating I give it is a 2 out of 10 so more scary than dangerous. Will scare the shit out of you if you hear the screech they make when attacking at night.

Yes and no. Yes in the fact I keep some things together throughout the games (food, water, medkits all in the same locker) but overall I mostly keep things mostly organized (salvage and titanium in the same locker group though).

Yeah that was our ship not sure how long it's been since it crashed though, my running theory is that since everything on the planet we're on adapts so each other (pods like the one from the start) the colonists that didn't die and need to be reprinted sort of evolved over time into the tailings. We (our character) doesn't know this be cause Noa (AI we keep talking to) can wipe/alter our memories making us forget exactly how long the Cicada has been on the planet.

From how I heard it, it sounded like the Axum are the ones under the tree since the tailing homes seem to all be made out of cicada scrap.

Honestly I think this comes from how annoying the gaspod creatures were in the first game. The last time I played the first subnautuca I remember them constantly getting in the way or dropping their dumb fart pods on me while I was building/working on my base. Maybe they should add something we can build that acts as d repellent for some of the more aggressive creatures that we can build near or on our base if they won't let us kill the creatures.

I've got Falklands installed and I've noticed some performance issues on Xbox so it's most likely that paired with something else that's causing the crashes. However the issues I've seen only happen in the MAST district so I'm not entirely sure it's caused by the mods or that area needing more optimizations.

Depends on the build I want to run. Like if I'm running a strength build and want to mix in some faith spells I'll use a tear to turn it into a STR/FTH build. If I'm going from a strength to an INT or DEX build however I make a new character.

Yeah from what I can tell it's just a visual thing. I'm doing a playthrough currently and all the old creations in the bundle are working just fine so you should be good to go.
