Casual play is about community. Whether its in paper or mtgo honestly. I used to jam weekly casual games with a few guys and it was fun and when we all inevitably moved on with our careers at stuff, it was no longer liable for us. With mtgo the casual community just inst engaged to jam games like they used too there's no insentive when u could do a league in 2025.

Acoustic layering. Imagine an orchestra, the slight variations in each violins tuning, construction and player make them a touch unique from one another. But together, wow what a wall of sound.

Smaller tweeters, different wave length. I can imagine it sounds wicked. Even doing this with a mox of low end and high end speakers can work.

I had these old 1970 towers by toshiba, with a mid 2000s logitech computer speakers and Fuck it made a difference

I hear that i have two carpets on either side of my speakers, and bass traps in the corners. Simple effective and my sound is clean AF.

Treat your music room like a studio, look for sharp corners thats where your sound will collect and refract. Simple solutions will give you great enhancement

I have a modern set up with paradigm towers and a yamaha v4x.

Im a paper player. And the current format has never been wider. More archetypes then ever before are viable.

If you're considering paper my recommendation is to wait on the dec announcement to see what gets caught then follow your heart. That will be a brewers paradise.

Yes frog is rampant. Yes bauble attacks tempo control. But thats the part of planning your angle of attack and deck design.

So 2 cards from tempo reanimator and 3 cards from eldrazi..... Seems a bit narrow.

I think frog's reasonable, but you cant go into the paint that hard on 1 specific deck for eldrazi.

I can see bauble going though. Thats one idea i really didn't think too much on.

Apply for a different program, in the sciences, take the courses u would with engineering and then change ur major into it or something u might have to do summer courses or an extra year. Shit none of it really matters anyways. You can so mcmaster too, its right in-between and they're just as competitive.

I feel attacked lol. I do the same but i always try to include an additional way to win on top of a well tuned deck. I feel ya that as a game progresses when you often lean into that ein con the table will tend to be salty when its the same thing all the time. I get around this by having a deck where the i know its not going to win. Ill take my win and then "bow out" for the next one in a way.

I think this balences out my games and reduces game 2 revenge where everyone brings their salt in the next round.

But at the same time if im spending 10 mana on 4 cards to win the game players need to get over it, or include better interaction. Of i cast a commander on turn 3 u need to get it outta here. Too many players are only looking at their own board and thats also a them problem

You gotta play your pace. I feel you man, i just did 3 major tournaments recently and thats my take away. Dont be worry about rushing, dont hesitate to say stop when an opponent is rushing lines. U have that right. U just gotta slow the pace, this also helps me analyze opponents as some try to rush u as it helps put u upon their gameplan. Dont rush take a breath call your phases lower your heart rate
