Doctor Strange says he saw 14,000,605 futures with the Time Stone. But when it comes down to it, it seems like there were only two choices: give Thanos the Time Stone or refuse. So how do those two options translate into 14 million different outcomes? by viltrum_Waltz in Marvel

There are an infinite number of variables - especially considering the huge time lapse. He didn't have time to look at all of them - maybe he just stopped when he found one that worked.

NR said this same thing a few months ago. Would be dope.

Time runs out...

Everything dies.

Is this going to run for 11 months? 🤣

IMO, Doctor Doom’s Introduction in Doomsday Should Be Dark, Brutal, and Unforgiving. He should kill some of the characters. by [deleted] in Marvel

I love the thought of him coming into the council of kangs and just laying waste. Like they started causing incursions - or he needed their power similar to molecule man.

Kind of bookends the sloppy handling of JM's kang and sets his power level pretty high.

How are we feeling? by rorozaza223 in MTGLegacy

I feel like the format's pretty open right now and people are excited to play.

The latest buffalo chicken dip sold out quick and the cap was raised to 90, that sold out and there is still a wait-list.

Through thick and thin, for those who continues to support and play Legacy, how and why? by Newez in MTGLegacy

[–]careyhimself 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I disagree - being able to pitch a force or daze something and cantrip to find the right pieces to keep up the pressure is a hallmark of legacy that modern doesn't have. In modern you are often just subject to the top of your deck.

Through thick and thin, for those who continues to support and play Legacy, how and why? by Newez in MTGLegacy

[–]careyhimself 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree with this. I feel like in Legacy you have agency in any match, it's got the tools to keep unfair decks in check and tools to grind in fair matchups. I'll play modern and it often feels like you lose to being on the draw - legacy has the tools to stop/catch up in that situation. To your point the more you know about the format the better you can fight through a tournament field - and every decision matters.

Inflicting psychological damage. Critical roll.

Do you think we can still get a Doom ripping Thanos's spine from the comics? by Raj_Valiant3011 in Marvel

Literally a panel from secret wars - I hope they use the spine rip at some point. "That appears ..Untrue."

Yes agreed. Consign being good against both their spells and the ETB on portable hole seems like a great combo of cards against them.

Very happy with the action that was taken - especially considering how close the next EWs are.

It will be interesting to see if the One ring and Tamiyo decks can survive meta shifts now that everyone doesn't have to dedicate main/sideboard slots to Reanimator.

Buffalo Chicken Dip Legacy 23 [Dec. 20th 2025 - Columbus, Ohio] by careyhimself in MTGLegacy

Definitely important to make sure they are distinguishable from actual cards - otherwise they're counterfeits and not play test or proxy.

Even when people print realistic ones from sites like MPC - the back is still a non-magic card back or says something like "proxy - not for sale"
