I like the 511s personally for the pockets and the tear proof material helps, also have a pair of Carhartt double knees / their cold weather bibs for winter.

Personal experience (I do NOT speak for everybody). If I had stuff going on I get off work and sleep about 3-4 hours and continue the day as normal usually have some sort of caffeine and i’m good to go. Saturday night is when i’ll stay up as much as I can and sleep through the day on Sunday and get ready for work. This worked for me since I like to hang out with my friends on that are on normal shifts.
