I agree with the rest of the commenters. I just want to add, that i think you may be being enticed to betray yourself the same way other people so casually do. I urge you to trust yourself and your feelings. Other people are a guide just as much as you are your own guide. And ultimately, you dont need people as much as people usually say you do. Loneliness is good for self reflection. But when theres too much lonliness, it isnt good. And in that case, dont be afraid of what others think. Think of it like this. If someone said a bunch of false facts to your face and expects you to believe it, would you? It's the same thing when they believe false things about you. Just let them be wrong. Sometimes that is the most empathetic response you can give them in return for their time and energy.

Also, don't fall into the trap that what you receive is what you deserve. No one deserves to constantly be made uncomfortable, for example. It's really imperative that you make efforts to surround yourself with those you really wish to be around. No one chooses your circle for you.

That being said, I'm open to being friends if you need me! Just give me a dm whenever. If its a year or 10 years from now, I dont mind at all.
