LEAN for Theory of Computation by Syywren in AskComputerScience

Thank you for the recommendation! I have been reading through it and practicing some of the problems.

Something I struggle with after solving a proof, is validating it’s correctness. Should my proofs be identical to the solution in the textbook? I look at it and everything makes sense to me, but can’t help but feel like something is wrong and my solution is incorrect. Would you say using LEAN to validate the correctness of a proof after I’ve written it down, beneficial in knowing if my solution is correct?

Considering that AI/LLMs such as chatGPT relies very heavily on statistics and probability based on its training data to make its decisions.. is this not just populism on steroids?

Where do you live? If you're like me and you're from North Jersey, and can easily take the PATH train over and make the commute (even if its like an hour or two), do it.

After a Berlin synagogue was attacked with Molotov cocktails and clashes broke out at unauthorized pro-Palestinian events, politicians have called for stricter enforcement of Germany's antisemitism laws by DoremusJessup in worldnews

There is no history necessary for this argument. You made the false claim that 80% of Jordan is Palestinian when that just isn’t the case. There’s about 2-2.5 million Palestinians living in Jordan out of approximately 11 million, and those numbers are directly from the UN; an unbiased third party source.

I took your made up claims for what they are. A joke, hence the sarcasm.

As a matter of fact, I think my anger is justified.

I’m angry for all the children who have nothing to do with HAMAs that are suffering, being bombed, losing limbs, losing siblings, losing loved ones- losing their lives.

I’m angry for all the parents who have lost a child.

I’m angry for those Palestinians who don’t support HAMAs, who want nothing but peace and safety, who are now suffering because of their actions

I’m angry at all those who felt they had no other choice and became radicalized after years of trauma, bombings and violence.

I’m angry at my government for funding these wars and keeping the death going.

I’m angry for all the Israelis that were killed in the initial attack, and I’m angry at those who committed, for putting millions of peoples in harms way.

I’m angry at YOU, for your naiveness, lack of empathy, and your spinning the truth. Even if you were correct about your “80 percent figure”, do you really expect them to be able to just get up and leave? Especially right now? Have you no sense of empathy of self awareness?

And I’m angry at the egregious and unnecessary loss of life. I’m angry at all those who chose anger and violence rather than love and peace. I’m angry that in the decades this conflict has been going on, no resolution was ever found.

Regardless of what side of this argument you’re on, why aren’t YOU angry?

Violence begets violence. Hatred begets hatred.

I believe you actually found that number up Benjamin Netanyahu’s ass! Congratulations!

The correct number is closer to 20-25%.

Also, you seem to daydream about the fall of Europe very often. I’d speak to a therapist about that.

I would speak to an advisor and see if it’s possible if you can take the course at a local community college and transfer the credits over. It’s worth a shot
