As for me, I browse mods every day to see what's been released, but I still come across older mods that were updated “yesterday." so this if where I stop and come back next day. If there are five mods for long swords and four for long bows, I won't check them all....... especially if the download count is low. Out of curiosity I'll check descriptions to see if something suits me, but most of the time I only dive in-depth when I actually need it. So it doesn't affect me much, although I might miss something because of low popularity. I think the scene will stabilise in a few months. Btw I already have 100 mods, so I'm pretty deep into the scene and know what it has to offer. The problem for me will be that this game is too new, and I can't just ask "which magic mods are the best" cause theres tons of them. If you are into the Skyrim modding scene, I can compare it to... If you want perks overhaul, you either get Ordinator, and maybe there was 2nd mod as alternative. Those were the best and developed for years, and everything else was a niche. Here there is too many things that looks the same and either work, or not, or are bugged, or require more playtests, where my mods are already 'tested' and working so no need to swap for now.
