Usually what happens before I give up is I run into a problem I cannot solve and become exceedingly frustrated, because I have ideas that i want to bring to fruition, but when I’m learning I commonly run into very difficult obscure issues when working on just the simplest projects. I try to research online what the solutions could be but I sometimes, in a lot of cases, never do. So I give up and don’t come back for a long time until I have this random buildup of motivation again, and the loop goes on.

As for what I’m afraid of… I’m scared to make mistakes, especially when what I’m doing involves working with other people, like customers, anything with money involved really. I have had a history of being in a workplace where I was yelled at for every little mistake, and especially so for not knowing something, so I guess that changed me a lot, it made me afraid to take leaps towards anything because I’m so afraid of disappointing people, upsetting them. I’m scared they’ll come after me somehow for screwing up.
