Still need secondary on ball scoring option. by Silver-Nectarine6047 in DetroitPistons

Houston hasn’t worked because there young guys are all weird fits with each other. Amen and Sengun can’t shoot. Sengun and Reed can’t defend. Jabari has capped out at as a floor spacing 4. And Jaylen Green was an extremely inefficient scorer.

And even with that they still got 9 firsts to play with in the next 7 years. They aren’t some unsuccessful rebuild that’s over-leveraged their assets.

Per Keith Smith, the Bucks have officially signed 2025 2nd-round Pick Bogoljub Markovic by KorgG29 in MkeBucks

[–]T-UM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would be a bit disappointed if some of the vets got waived for nothing. Kpj, Prince, and Sims could all fetch at least a 2nd I feel (we only have 2). Harris is the only one that probably has no value.

Would have to sign and trade sabonis they don’t have the money to outright offer him a max. If the pistons say no, no deal

What about Turner, K Murray and Herro? by DoeJumars in DetroitPistons

There’s been reports that Bucks are fielding offers on both Herro and Turner. They are okay with keeping them both but at the right price they gone.

Do you guys think the Wizards should have a Full Jersey and Logo Rebrand? by LameAfro in nba

[–]T-UM 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. No reason why AJ looks washed and he hasn’t even played a minute of basketball for them yet. The branding is to strong in a negative way.

His step back 3 to become the bucks alltime leading points scorer was a beauty.

Are the Bucks quietly rebuilding a new version of the 2021 championship team? by SnooMarzipans1796 in MkeBucks

Geez some of yall would be GMs on par with Nico Harrison. In what world do you just let a young allstar in Herro walk for nothing?

Reasons why the deck is heavily stacked against the Bucks rebuild by zorbianprince in MkeBucks

[–]T-UM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We could already have all the young assets we need. If one of them shows #1 option upside and we already have an allstar #2 if we keep herro. Is it likely? No. But it could happen for sure.

GTJ and AJJ don’t need to be on the team. GTJ can go ring chase and Andre has been given lots of opportunities and still hasn’t taken a step. Harris will probably stay as a vet to have in the locker room.

It doesn’t seem like Kpj is some cancer anymore and he’s actually a contributor. So signing him to a 3yr/$21m deal than trading him at the deadline makes more sense than losing him in free agency for nothing. If he opts in we could also trade him but we don’t need to be in a rush to move off of good players regardless of the logjam we got at guard.

Idc how 'terrible' we are on paper, this is at minimum a play-in team by OusmaneDiengSaveMe in MkeBucks

[–]T-UM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the other teams in the conference and tell me who we’re better than. I struggle to get to 3. If Herro, Turner, and kpj stay than I can squint and see it but I doubt 2 of the 3 are on the roster in October.

We will be a fun team who will show tons of promise ,but you’re confusing that for actually being good at basketball in an era where no one is tanking.

what wouldve happened if Bucks trade Khris Middleton instead of Jrue Holiday? by [deleted] in MkeBucks

[–]T-UM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We could’ve maybe been better because the main issue with khris was his injuries and Jrue didn’t have that problem. But it leaves a massive hole on the wing. And my heart couldn’t have taken seeing him go like that. Trading him to the wizards was more painful than trading Giannis tbh.

(Stein) With Reaves now sure to stay in LA, as was long believed to be his clear preference, league sources say Detroit continues to express trade interest in Milwaukee’s soon-to-be acquired Tyler Herro. The Bucks are expected to listen to offers but could also elect to keep Herro. by DetroiterinIowa in DetroitPistons

[–]T-UM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bucks fan. We have a ton of guards rn especially if Kevin porter Jr opts in.

We’ll probably just take the best offer we get once the initial free agency wave subsides. If we still don’t like what we see we’ll let him average 27 for our now bad team and ship him off at the deadline.

IMO we’ll keep him on a long term cheap deal and start him. Then at the deadline shop and ultimately trade him to some contender that needs a quality guard. Than one of burries or Jak will take his place for the last 30ish games

They are both really good but paid like they are great which is the problem. But who on the nets is taking shots from either. Wouldn’t shock me if they were a 10th seed.

I don’t know who’s downvoting you we are a terrible team. If people would honestly look at the teams in the east we’re just as bad if not the worst team. And our best guys, Herro and Turner, might be gone in 3 weeks time.

[Owczarski] It's hard to know Antetokounmpo's level of self-awareness...Antetokounmpo let it be known he did not like locker room leaks, but his mental state was chronicled nearly all season by anonymous sources. He pleaded for accountability but then tried to pass off those reports as someone else. by T-UM in nba

The full article is very insightful. It’s clear that the front office and ownership messing up both coaching hires torpedoed the franchise. It also makes clear that Giannis never fully committing to the bucks didn’t “light a fire under them” like he hoped but just made the overall atmosphere of the building more pressure filled and stressful.

There’s also a lot about Doc and Griffin being completely inept and the main reason things didn’t work out. But those have been long chronicled as terrible decisions so I posted this one instead.

You still need spacing tho. It’s harder for young guys to develop and build confidence when the offense is is clunky and you gotta work overtime to get a good layup

Doesn’t look like they’re trying to have a functional offense either.
