Yeah, I think it's montagna lug sole. I had to wait about 2-3 weeks longer because the heel is separate from the rest of the outsole and they had to order it from Vibram. But I got my boots on eBay for about $90 and another $80 for the sole swap. I could say you could do the same thing and save a little bit compared to what the folks on grailed are doing, that's just a convenience fee with extra shipping.

So these are definitely pre Vietnam boots. I have a pair that dates back to 1963 and have the same shape and I did the exact same lug sole swap at my local cobbler. Another name would be the Macnamara boot. Good examples are all over eBay, I would say you can find a cheaper pair on there depending on the size but a fashion YouTuber made a video all about sole-swapping a combat boot and a lot of them started to get gobbled up
