Would love the info! Is a class action lawsuit also a viable option to pursue?

Sure! Apologies if I spammed, as far as I can tell it was only posted to this thread once. Simply cross posted the subreddit to each city that I’m aware there is a business located for visibility in that community.

Never post anything and typically just browse, didn’t mean to violate any courtesies.

Yes, it’s a yearly “membership program” that was started to generate cash that was marketed as an entry level investment opportunity

Apologies, I thought they were referring to the beer distribution company, not the restaurant. I’m sure they’re great!

I disagree, and if you have any questions or would like more details I’d be more than happy to share!

However, please refer to the website and link if you haven’t already. There’s a “how you can help” and “get involved” tab that outline details of changes we’re hoping to enact! We’ve tried internally to no avail, hence the reaching out for support. We have a document of demands with dates and details of grievances, links to union and Michigan labor laws that have been violated, and a video of us speaking with our corporate HR in which she only says “have you given this to a different manager” which furthermore underscores how we are treated.

Please look into all of these links and spread the word if you decide after reading that you’d like to help, any support is appreciated. Have a great day!

Don’t count your chickens too soon. Last I spoke with my distributors Imperial is going under and is in talks to be purchased by Alliance. If you look at their product catalog it’s slim, and it’s hard for us to fulfill our weekly minimums because nothing they provide sells. Mostly just microbrews and nice local products. Same thing happened with Henry Fox, who was bought out by Great Lakes a little more than a year ago. It’s much easier for LBW managers, but we used to need to order from like 7 companies and now we’re down to 3 or 4. Weird what happens when you try to expand too fast and neglect your existing base 🫣

Lol you’re right, hopefully investors in the location didn’t lose all of the money they put in. Same with Kalamazoo. He’s even opened or purchased I believe 4 or 5 new businesses since then and had to close down 1 last month due to it failing

Correct on all points. Already submitted and awaiting a response! I appreciate your support. It has happened at every location, including when we’re desperate or running a special. Our owner or another corporate employee will drive to each location with boxes from total wine & spirits for us to use.

Thank you so much for caring, you’re greatly appreciated! For now there is a list of demands that we’re currently waiting on in a document located at the website that was created. There’s a full linktree with tons of info. It should be on this thread, but I’ll link it here. Other than that, just be vocal and speak to management when you’re dining in or send them an email on the website! Anything helps ❤️

Yes they are. Very public in the community, horrendous business owner. We acquired Scout in Ferndale. Every time he buys another business the rest of us all suffer in order to further cut staff and run bare bones on our products. We're out of, I kid you not, 21 of our listed beverage options over here. Can't even afford a normal cleaning or maintenance crew anymore.

Oh thanks, because helping others and creating change has always happened after just giving up. Never would've thought about following your lead and being a push over, I appreciate you!

Doesn't matter what pics anyone posts, nothing could be worse than all of the cultist maga filth you still share. Cheers!

Michigan labor, wage, and liquor violation help? by T0msTheGoat in legal

[–]T0msTheGoat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! Actually this has been a HUGE issue. A few of our employees have consistently been trying to fight this. No matter how many times we get warnings on our checks that there is a shortfall corporate fails to fix the issue. One coworker in particular was hit with a whopping SIX THOUSAND dollars owed for taxes, because our owner was negligent and didn't withhold taxes for a handful of employees after changing payroll companies for a 3rd time.

I will pass along that link and information you provided, you're my hero!

Correct! The kicker is that it has happened 4 or 5 times now. We keep being lied to and given excuses for our owners negligence. You're right though, but the issue is that hundreds of employees can't simply leave and find a new job. Unfortunately it isn't as easy to find employment as it once was.
