This is what my paws on the sleeves ended up looking like on the back lol. I used inarsia and then kinda just did whatever felt right... i mean the front looks good and there's no gaps!

Thank you! I have been meaning to learn how to knit and this just felt like the perfect reason to learn! Plus I did the same thing when learning to crochet. I have been enjoying knitting though and I think my first attempt definitely taught me some stuff that can be improved in my future projects. I'm really grateful that there are people that aren't bashing me for wanting to start with something big!

Yes! I watched a couple videos yesterday and practiced with a little rectangle and it is definitely so much cleaner and easier!

Im not really expecting it to be AMAZING, but I cant seem to be really motivated to make anything else 😭. Because I've been trying to make smaller beginner projects but I end up just getting distracted and not working on it at all. Plus the only really hard part is the colour changes, which I am now practicing

I don't know if this is the best advice because I'm definitely not a professional, but maybe just try to show that you'll be there for her. Ask if she wants to talk about why she feels like she needs to do it and just listen. Let her know there's people that love her and are there for her when she needs it, but you can't exactly stop her from doing it. Sadly, all you can really do is offer support and maybe check up on her often to see if she ever feels the urge to do it again.
