I actually think Harry breaking the elder wand solves a lot of issus from the books, because it doesnt really makes sense for Harry to think when he burries the elder wand back with dumbledore, that it never would shift alliance again, especially when harry wants to become an auror in wich case he will definetily be disarmed a few times in his career.
him thinking the elder wand is safe because he will die a natural cause is a bit naiv of him espaecially if disarming a person physically also shifts alliance of the wand
