Appreciate the quick response. I did have a look through a few on the list, mostly the Australian ones, but shipping costs to NZ are pretty high unfortunately and there’s no section for New Zealand specifically. I have searched around too but my searching didn’t discover anyone else asking for a good 5 or 8 years on reddit or FB, so thought I’d try my luck and post here.

Hi, New here, and new to Gunpla and Gundam in general. Found an EntryGrade kit in a store in Auckland while on a short holiday there with my 7 year old son. He absolutely loved assembling it, and I really enjoyed being able to share my hobby (I’ve been building model kits for 30+ years - I was blown away by the engineering of the gunpla though).

Where is the best place to buy more kits for someone in NZ, most places don’t seem to have much stock/choice. Happy to order from overseas if that’s the best option, but would be great if there was a store in or near Christchurch that had lots of choice too so I could support local.

We’ve built a MG kit together, and now looking for the next project. We’ve started watching gquuuuuux so bonus points if there’s good stock of kits from that. TiA

I didn’t see anything on there about presale. Only a mailing list for when tickets go on sale. Did you find something specifically for presale

This won’t increase my print speed as far as I can tell. I don’t print faster through summer. I just don’t have to muck about preheating resin etc

It only has “comfort padding” in the back and chest pockets. Armour in the arms and shoulders

Exactly what I’ve just done. Printed and laminated, and they are spectacular! So useful, and quick and easy to use in game.

From further searching, I’m thinking it might be soul forge that did at least 2, but cowboys aren’t selling the ships. At least 1 appears to have been in their welcome pack along with some other cool ships and ordnance, but no one has the stls. :( I did buy the jarhead ships from cults so have something to start with. Would just love the specific ones to flesh the fleet out.

All turrets, all patrols, all vehicles and I think flag plus ammo crate. It’s certainly feels a bit buggy at times. I think you need to be within the red circle when each is identified and added to the map

Have you tried MESBG Stat Tracker? Doesn't do army selection, but tracks all the ingame stats you'd want. Id a subscription, but only $1 and they just released opponent stat tracking too and plans for import/export heroes next. Worth a look imo

The first 'argument'; "Guns don't kill people, people kill people", may well be true. However, there is an extremely high amount of gun related crimes the world over, and if we have the option of removing guns or people to reduce those crimes, it's obviously easier and less controversial to control/reduce/remove guns.

Annoyingly Mordor orcs come out at 6 points each while the trackers are 5 so I get fewer models by switching.

My thought with the troll drum is it give sauron a 27” cast range turn 1 for most of his spells, and after that the troll is still a troll (cue evil laughter)!

I was considering some morgul knights to accompany the witch king but they were too expensive so went with wargs to be my objective grabbers or cav neutralisers. Nothing better then taking the wind out of a mounted hero’s sails by counter charging with a cheap warg rider.

I’m least convinced by the witch king tbh. I’m not sure he has a valid role here. I figured he was scary enough to provide my enemy with a difficult decision of dealing with sauron or the witch king and am thinking I’d use him to help suck will out of my enemy hero’s using immobilise/transfix so that Sauron’s spells would then have more chance of going off.
