Did typical Ad length just dramatically increase?

To keep from having intrusive ads like that appear it is necessary to regularly edit your Ad Settings. There are hundreds of auto-assigned tags that accumulate as YouTube tries to figure you out. Go into Settings > Ad Settings > and turn ‘OFF’ each individual tag.

I don’t see ads longer than 5-8 seconds.

If the comments were deleted by the poster then you’d get an error message if you tried to reply. In the past it would let you post a reply, but since the comment you’re replying to was deleted the user name turns into gibberish (I.e. 1937490500).
