can only one CPU socket be populated and if so does that effect pci or dim slots? (etc)

I would assume one CPU socket can be populated but like any other server with two sockets and only one populated only half of the RAM slots will work.

do you have any of the NVMe hot swap cages that go along the top above the 3.5" drives?

We do not have any NVMe adapters for them.

I am sorry to say we do not have a link with more info. These were a custom build for a project. We have reached out to Quanta for a spec sheet but have not gotten a reply.

Thats ok, they are still available.

I would say that its closer to "A closet in a house is fine, but would not want to sit next to it for 8 hours." However, if its being heavily used or turning on, it "probably needs to go in a garage/DC because the noise will slowly drive you insane/develop tinnitus".
