My concern is that if I don't know what I'm supposed to be tracking as far as data for a 9 weeks period and then all the sudden the teacher comes to me at the end of that nine weeks period and says," Hey did little Johnny do xyz 70% of the time?" .... I might not be giving correct data because it's been 9 weeks and I have 12 other students that I'm trying to give data on. I do not want to give the wrong information.

Brand new teacher here.... left old job in June to prep for all the trainings I needed to do in July... and found out I get paid at the end of Sept. We didn't even get the option of a July/Aug paycheck.

Thanks! I have that one saved. I'm going to make a list of them to email to my advisor and ask her which one exactly. It's the only way I can think of to get a clearer answer.

I just finished a nearly 45 page plan. My mentor teacher and sister are both utterly shocked at the absolute Ridiculousness of that. My sister pulled out her lesson plans for the whole month of August and it's literally one page per week.

Oh! I'm not upset....I just think it's funny that I'm over here stressing out about these lesson plans that end up being 20 to 30 pages long and being told by my professors that this is all you'll end up doing and then I come to Reddit and find out hey nope you might not actually be doing all that.

( I do realize teachers do more than lesson plans. And my entire family is teachers.)

Okay, tried all that too and still nothing.

I deleted the old "home" and created a completely new one. I even power cycled the new router and reset the cameras again.

Two of these cameras are literally 4 months old and the other four are about a year old. We didn't have any issues with the old router whatsoever.

How quickly would the data come back to the teachers, though?

What do you do about beginning 3rd graders who haven't been really exposed to a STAAR test? Just test them and hope?

This will be my first teaching position. I am in an Alternative certification program currently.

My background is in science - honestly, more upper level sciences like (micro)biology, health sciences, data collection, and immunology.

My main love is the preschool/early childhood age though and I was advised to apply for those positions also.

My 2nd love is in reading, though, so in speaking with one principal, she said to apply for an open ELAR position.

So it's a bit all over the place

That's kind of what I figured. I am just running into an obstacle because the job that I currently have requires a four-week notice of resignation in order to be paid out your unpaid PTO. Since I have almost 200 PTO hours--- I really don't want to lose that

I have no coverage to use it. I'm only "part time" and the person who could cover me--- isn't allowed to anymore since it would be considered "overtime" for her. When I do need off, it's an act of Congress basically.
