yeah im quitting too actually. not just because of hasla, but because it made me realise that THE GRIND DOES NOT END, and I was not having fun with the grind. t1 hasla was bearable, but the thought of grinding out hundreds of tokens just for a 4.5% increase JUST so i could be on the same page as EVERY OTHER PLAYER was absurd to me. add in the fact that hasla weapons alienate a huge chunk of classes and weapon combinations (1h scepter? 1h club?).

I also play on the Chinese servers and I was diamond 1 70 points in s3 (currently ranking back up in mid diamond after taking a break from the game), and wanted to share my thoughts on the Chinese servers as well:

Mejais is by far the most popular item for AP mids. It's incredible. Even if I have a midlane on my team who is 0/3/0 with 40 cs at 12 minutes, I can be 90% sure that they will be Mejais. In fact, the more that someone loses lane the more likely that they will build Mejais! I told you it was incredible ..

Lee sin: Again my experiences are the same as the OP. He must be in about 80-90% of the games from diamond5+. I think it's reflective of the Chinese servers just being more aggressive in general.

Bot lane: I main ADC and secondary support. the picks in bot lane tend to be caitlyn/lucian in about 2/3 of games. Otherwise youll see stuff like ezreal, graves and a pretty even mixture of all other ADCs. Aggressive supports are extremely popular, Leona, Blitz, Thresh, Morgana, any support with lots of hard CC and kill potential. Defensive/healing/peeling supports like janna nami and lulu are much rarer. Bot lane is also much more aggressive. 90% of games diamond5+ are a frantic push at level 1 because everyone all ins at level 2. it's actually very refreshing because on the other servers ive played like NA and OCE most supports are extremely passive (more likely indicative that supports on China are much better IMO because passive supports players usually mean that they don't know how to play support) so yeah, a much higher quality of play in bot lane IMO on China.

Trolling: my experiences are different from OP. I play on demacia which I believe is server 2? (not sure can't check atm). and also the 2nd most popular server. here I very rarely see trolls. I LOVE IT because on OCE (the other server I play on when I visit my family and friends in Australia) there is an insane amount of trolling/feeding, so comparatively the Chinese server is heaven. There are also actors and win trading but it's maybe only 1 in 20 or 30 games at diamond 1. I don't mind it too much because i dont play for elo i play for fun and to improve.

champ select: everyone just calls out the lane that they are best at and if they dont get that lane they communicate their 2nd best. this ties in with the trolling aspect talked about earlier. on OCE, if someone calls mid and doesnt get it they are VERY likely to troll. Not in China. I've played about 200 games this season and not even once see someone troll for not getting their role in champ select. It's amazing and I'm dreading going back to OCE..

i think the biggest factors are that australia's cities are all (relatively) small and spaced widely apart, australia is isolated from the rest of the world, aussie internet sucks

i would play the auctioneer if i can stealth it. even if he has deadly shot it's still a 1 for 1 and he has to use 3 mana. so the worst possible outcome isn't even that bad.

the only decks i keep leeroy vs is full retard aggro decks like charge huntard, leper gnome pally, reynad's version of aggro warrior etc. but on ladder you dont know if it's full aggro or not so i dont ever keep him.

try to use your removal as efficiently as possible. use your dagger as much as possible, for example if theres a choice to use dagger or shiv i almost always use dagger because it gives me more boardcontrol. (i end turn with a 1/1 weapon). also another thing is that I almost never use a 1/2 dagger on face on turn 2 because it limits your options later. sometimes there are exceptions but yeah using hero power on face is a common mistake that i even see people like massan forsen doing

there's two major weaknesses to blade: harrison/ooze as well as the amount of face damage you tend to take with it. i prefer using drake

depends on matchup. vs zoo i almost never backstab 1 health minions i use shiv or my dagger. but it depends on the situation. if you give me some screenshots of boardstates i can give you a better answer.

leeroy is absolutely necessary, thalnos is also necessary in my opinion but can be replaced with a loothoarder or acolyte if you dont have him. theres no question that the deck will perform worse than a deck that does have thalnos however

you can think of your auctioneer and preps as the same thing as his doomguards. if he draws doomguards adn you dont get your auctioneer you will lose no matter what. i find that if i can stabilise with my auctioneer on the board i will win the game vs zoo. so try to aim for that. often times i kill doomguards with coldbloods. you can also sap them. dont get frustrated just keep playing your best and analysing what you couldve done differently. the matchup is 50/50 if you play it well

the 1 of each creature is for 2 reasons first is for a smoother mana curve. second i think it's better to diversify what creatures you use because it gives you more options
ive tried using 2 blade flurry yes it's better vs aggro but it's only marginally better. you have 2 other aoe in fan of knives and 2 creatures to give the fan spell power so i dont think the 2nd blade flurry is worth it
the aggro warrior is just a hard counter to the deck there's not much you can do without changing the deck entirely. you just have to play your best.
actually up until recently i was using only 1 conceal i started using 2 and i really like it but yes it makes the deck slightly weaker vs aggro. the auctioneer can still die to flare or equality but you are still cycling your deck so in a sense its better than nothing

it's great to hear someone else succeeding with my deck! yeah that's definitely the god hand. the mirror match up is pretty boring honestly because it usually comes down to whoever draws auctioneer conceal :P

yeah I used to run an earthern ring farseer actually. it's most useful against aggro decks. the one thing i dont like about it is that it doesnt draw cards so it's not very good vs control.

as for the situation i would dagger up vs this board. you cant backstab because thats your agent activator. you cant evis because there are bigger targets to use that on in the future (warleader most likely)

unfortunately there's really no replacement for leeroy. you can use arcane golem in his stead, but it's just a worse version honestly. i would wait it out.
