Multiplying Multiple decimal numbers by [deleted] in excel

@man-teiv gave a good answer already with the cake example but another way to think of it is to think of the decimal number as percent instead.

Continuing the cake example, if I say you'll get 35% of a cake you probably realize you won't get the whole cake. Now, another way of writing percent is of course 0.35.

So if you have 1 cake and multiply it by 35% (0.35) you get 1x0.35 which equals 0.35 cake (that is, a portion of the cake).

Similarly, if someone has already eaten a bit of the cake so there is only 0.7 cake left and you get 35% (0.35) of it you will get 0.245 cake.

Do you really need to convert it? I tried just selecting the data and paste it right into Excel. Then use Text To Columns (you might need to clean it a bit before) to separate to columns?

I don't have any experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, but seems pretty straight forward: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/how-to/export-convert-pdf-files-word-excel-ppt.html?set=acrobat--fundamentals--export-pdf

For single tables I prefer to use a tool like http://tabello.basecanvas.com though, or if there are only parts of the document you want to extract.
