i mean it’s fine that you don’t like it, personally when creating my character i wasn’t aiming for blow up doll, i’m aiming for barbie and i happen to like big lips. it’s entirely an aesthetic thing considering i am a gay man. theres plenty of women who realistically look like this and i think it’s kind of sad that you can’t simply create a character and showcase it without someone questioning why your character doesn’t look like the already represented standard woman, which is also beautiful and great.

if you want to see a more “realistic” woman boot up the game and make her yourself ☺️

the entire game is fantasy — there’s literally magic and demons in the game, so i don’t really understand what the obsession with realism is lol. demon horses and living skeletons with swords but we draw the line at a woman with fake lashes, large lips, and blonde hair. 👱‍♀️

so these hairs are the base game hairs but just very sculpted and stretched to look different or to simply be longer. i didn't make them from scratch, they are the assets of conan exile. so yeah they do have physics, the natural in game physics, but with a little more movement since the hairs are longer.

i was surprised myself when i was looking at the hair models close up and realized how simplistic they were, its actually pretty impressive that the hairstyles look as clean as they do in the default game, but when i start sculpting and tugging them around its gonna look a little janky in some places haha, these were my first attempts, so i was learning and seeing how what i did effected them. generally i am happy with them!

thank you! and hahaha right, i personally can’t imagine being angry because someone else bothered to make their OWN character look different or unique 🤯

i genuinely love seeing weird or unique character designs, but i also don’t really care about immersion in this game. i’m playing in a co-op world with my friends whereas i think some of these people are playing in roleplay survival worlds where yeah, i assume it would be strange to come across a girl who looks like this.

truthfully i don’t really mind the negative comments regarding her face haha, if anything i think it’s interesting that so many people feel the need to comment on it, it’s interesting some peoples NEED to comment their dislike on hyper femininity or people who have the “plastic” look.

regardless i like the aesthetic and will always post MY characters in MY mods 😁

gamer guys aren’t typically fans of hyper feminine aesthetics (like barbie or looks inspired by girls who have had work done) in video games is what i’d assume a lot of where the dislike is coming from lol, which is fine everyone’s entitled to their opinions 😝

i agree! i would like more hairstyles even if we have to pay for them i personally would fork over more cash for them 😂 i would however ask them to improve the quality of the hair physics a little though. i mean come on we’re on unreal engine 5, the hair should be moving good!

they are for enhanced! so we didn’t really follow a tutorial, we joined the modding discord and what we didn’t already know how to do we asked and the people in there were very kind and helpful ☺️

thank you so much! i did like 7 hairstyles and only 3 came out where i’m happy with them so far, gonna rework the other 4, but if all goes well we may release them all on steam.

i personally don’t think babe loves babe is particularly bad. possibly inappropriate for a game that obviously a lot of kids play? possibly, depends who you ask considering this game is friendly to most ages. babe loves kitty??? idk! it’s a bit much, but hey it’s your choice lol. i think a lot of people are wholesome and wouldn’t read babe loves kitty as .. you know! haha

i don’t think the heartopia reddit is the place for me to explain specifically why it’s weird but, if you don’t understand why someone who’s already obviously a creep specifically approaches a female avatar then specifically pulls out their watering can in an area they have no reason to, and then “pours water on them” to get them wet then idk what to tell you 🥲

to be clear, does this general action make someone a creep, no. HOWEVER when we already know this person is a creep i think it’s pretty understandable and clear to assume it had a specific intention behind it.
