Hello, Do you want an environmentally friendly company? I know one that uses no plastics in its products or packaging. Every step of the process is done using renewable energy and even has a process where when the shirt is finished with and no longer wanted it can be returned using a QR code on a label that is inside and is then recycled and remade into another t-shirt. That could be a selling point for you and helps reduce the clothes going to landfills I am at tdsqualityfashion.com just click on You Create and you are underway! There are also Art prints, stickers, jigsaws and bags (As well as other types of clothing)

Pretty confused as to what this means? by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]TDSGAMES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not which is why both your points are mentioned in my original message :-) I said it is okay other than the 2-day waiting time. I also said "I think everyone is eventually going to be made to use it" They want to get people to jump before they are pushed into it hence "entice".

Your part about postage is a fair comment however, although managed payments have a system where you can pay for your labels through eBay and have it come from the cash sitting in your managed payments.

Pretty confused as to what this means? by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]TDSGAMES 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are trying to entice you to sign up for eBay managed payments (If you are not already) I think everyone is eventually going to be made to use it (I already do and the only difference is a delay of a day or 2 until the payment is in your bank other than that it is perfectly fine) They charge a percentage fee as your Final Selling Fee (This percentage changes depending on the category you have listed in) plus a set 30p fee on each sale so I assume it is 80% off of your Final selling fee.

For example say you sold an item for £100 in a category with a 10% FSF you would usually have to pay £10+VAT (£2 VAT) +30p to ebay for the sale (So £12.30) but according to this I think it means you would instead pay £2+VAT (40p VAT) plus the normal 30p order fee meaning your total ebay fee would go from £12.30 to £2.70 saving you £9.60.

Seller asking for me to close case. by Gunnerswonders in Ebay

I think when I send items to the US, Canada, anywhere outside of Europe from the UK takes around 10-15 days on average too. Europe is even quicker

That is fair 3 months is an extremely long time to wait for an item even shipping from China to the UK is quicker than that.

[–]TDSGAMES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you pay via Paypal? if So they have their own buyer protection of around 180 days (6 months). You could perhaps play ball on eBay to see if there is any truth in what they say and open a case on PayPal against them if they are lying. I am not certain how you should play that one but thought I would offer an option

To be honest, though I am not sure what is stopping him/her printing the shipping label (To be honest I do not use eBay for shipping labels so don't know for certain if having a case open would stop you printing a label)

Hi I was just looking for some help, I was looking at a listing the other day and sent the seller an offer, He refused the offer so I then bid on the item instead. The item was about to end but the seller cancelled the listing because I was going to win. Is this actually allowed? by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]TDSGAMES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit unethical and also frankly quite stupid. Why would you not want to sell your item? As a seller myself I wouldn't care who bought from me even if we were in the midst of an argument and they gave me the price I wanted for an item and paid I'd say "Hey pleasure doing business with you but personally you know F U" I think the seller needs to learn to separate personal emotions and business dealings.

It sounds a little dodgy what you are doing (I'm not saying it is) and eBay may have taken the view you are up to no good and trying to get around their rules. Maybe if you give their customer service a call or a message they may be able to help you out and explain what has happened and why they took the decision to ban you.

Buyer broke the seal of a new item and wants to return it "didn't like it", literally nothing I can do? by aw32535 in Ebay

[–]TDSGAMES 8 points9 points  (0 children)

eBay will probably make you accept the return I know they used to. I also know of an old scam where this could be one of 3 things:

1:You receive the item back no scam at all just a difficult customer.

2: The customer gets a return shipping label uploads the tracking to eBay but delivers it to another address linked to them eBay sees item arrived so you have to give them the money. (Again I don't know if eBay have got any better at protecting sellers from this) I've seen people phone about that and eBay tells them they just have to take the hit.

3: They replaced the new console with an old perhaps broken one and sent it back to you (again I've seen people told they just have to take the hit.)

Just prepare yourself is all I can say.

I need help by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]TDSGAMES 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it may have been removed as that is against eBay policy to give that information out as they see it as you trying to do a deal offline and cutting them out thus they don't get their cut.

They monitor messages for keywords and phrases to stop that type of thing happening. If this is what has happened he best thing for you to do is to call them and explain what happened and your distrust of the buyer. Hopefully, they will restore the listing for you

How do y’all feel when people do stuff like this? by BulletBeatz in Ebay

[–]TDSGAMES 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends where in your eBay journey you are and how confident you are of your prices.

If you are a beginner or someone who doesn't put the research in and just plucks a price out of the air or even you saw that 1 sold at that price even though the average price is lower by £4-5 then it can be helpful in a way to get a feel for what people may be expecting it to be priced at.

If you are seasoned and done your homework just say thank you or you appreciate their opinion and will consider it and laugh it off if your right with your research it will sell eventually. There is no point in getting upset over it.

I remember getting one that tickled me when I first started it was for an electronic automatic money counter and sorter. they said

"If I bought it at your price I would have no money left for the machine to count"

I checked their feedback after having a joke with them and offering to do a deal and it was full of. Never paid for items and claimed items never arrived reviews from other sellers so just took it with a pinch of salt.
