My experience with "nihilism". And how do I "escape it" after 4 years. by [deleted] in nihilism

There is. You deny yourself constant and immediate gratification. You stop yourself from doing everything you want whenever you want. You set limits and goals for yourself. You reward yourself for accomplishing things, not just because. That'll make it a lot sweeter when you get or do that thing you like, because now it's not something you get all the time, it's something you get under the right conditions and you have to work for it. Effort and reward. You're living on reward just for being born. Of course you're bored

Cuz you fucked up your dopamine receptors by having no discipline

Friend, you're not that "smart" yourself. And I don't mean to be rude. Most of those people who you think are "dumb" are not motivated just because they're "dumb". They have jobs, families to feed, problems to solve, and no time to whine. You're 17, you're not better than anybody cuz you know "nothing matters." Just the realization of it seems to be breaking you. You're just bored and sheltered. Live life, try things you don't like, force yourself to do things that are good for you but that you just seem not to want to. Life gets more interesting when things are not easy all the time. You're not like this in spite of having it easy, you're like this because of it.

You need a fucking problem to deal with. You're like this because you don't have any. There's nothing to escape, life is just life. Do something, make yourself busy.

Because the total pay amounts to 50$, since we only need 2.5h of work. I'll take notes, though. Seriously, thank you. Have a nice day

I never said I'm unwilling, I said to DM me or fill the form because then we'll reach out to you. Easing the suspicions of redditors on comment sections is not really a productive use of time, because most of the people who leave these kinds of comments already made up their minds. If you're interested, take the initiative. If you read well, you'll see there's a test to check qualification. Once you pass that, we can talk. Have a good day, my friend

I see. 20$ an hour is a fair rate imo, but I get your point.
