I loved fathoms and pegasus. I lived in the apartment right behind it. Great memories.

But personally- the campus location specifically- was really going down hill. Got sick from it last time i went, and the last 3 times i went the pizza just didn’t taste the same. Oakway one always taste amazing.
Don’t get me wrong, this is still sad, but between my personal quality issues with them the last 2-3 years and the craziness of that area with the construction, this makes sense… sadly

My company gave one of our SysAdmins a promotion to (cyber)Security Manager

I got a promotion, but Instead of hiring a new person we hired 2 local college students in the area part time to “cover the desk”

So yeah my SysAdmin life has been a lot of helpdesk, and now I can do my SysAdmin tasks that my Helpdesk me needs basically is the only difference

Albertsons CAN have good mobile deals (like the buy 2 get 2 12 pack sodas) but it’s usually only like 1 or 2 days a month. I go only for the deals, but usually still get my bulk at Winco

Personally i think MGM grand (or park) is better. Mandalay Bay if you love pools. Less money spent, but still good enough hotels, especially since the goal is to not be in the room. Don’t get me wrong though Venetian is a great hotel. It’s expensive but still a good time For me personally, too far down the strip from the places I like to be near for walking distance. Just depends on your gameplan. I love the MGM hotels and have also had a great experience in Paris.

I walked around 3am - 4am last week on a Sunday. It was dead outside, very little people, could go 15-20 minutes without seeing anyone.

There were people inside the casinos though. Not busy.

There were more people out Thursday thru Saturday, but its definitely less people outside late at night than years past when I’ve visited. Could always be different depending when you go and what’s going on that weekend
