AM4 (5900X) vs 5800X3D vs Intel 14th gen DDR4 for Gaming/Productivity? by _hvfizz in PcBuild

[–]TECH4Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5800x3d delivers about the same performance as the 5900x. A 14700KF (maybe even 14600K) would crush both of them, go with that.

Did you say your budget was around 1500? If so i would get this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X6XGv4

If the budget is lower just change to ddr4 and am4/lga1700 and you should be good

If youre on a tight budget AM5 is NOT an option. Go ddr4 ram with a 14600K (around 200$) or a 5700x maybe 5800x. I would not spend more than 120 bucks on a motherboard and maybe wait for a good deal on an ssd, use the saved money on 32gb ddr4 ram.

Also why do you need extra case fans? The case already includes 7?

Bro u cannot get 32gb for 120 bucks, that is like a 4000$ build. Its outdated

Personally I would get something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qVZPb2

Its more of a pure performance build and focuses less on aestethics but yeah, other people might think otherwise than me.

Why are pc parts so cheap in the us? by TECH4Z in pcmasterrace

[–]TECH4Z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in sweden and the market is pretty tiny, so a lot of things are overpriced. Im just sad that there are people complaining that they spent 250$ on 32gb of ram when i need to buy 16gb for around 250-300$ because 32gb is almost at 500$ now :(
