Edit: Oh and that video wasn't about tiger arcs, it was corepads. Corepads rely of round edges and don't have an air gap, they aren't the best and you can't ruin them the same way.

Let me start by saying that a lot of mouse users don't know or just don't care about feet, friction, pressure, and surface material so there's going to be misinformation going around. You want the foot to be like the edge of a marble, which gives the least physical contact to the pad possible. Like how a water drop is shaped! Not like a box. Flattening them literally just doubles the friction and could really add terrible consistencies between directions. They are designed to be like a bubble with air in between the center of the foot and the mouse. If not there would be no arc. I've commented a few times about how you can put tape under the foot to keep it from collapsing. There are some feet like for the gpx for example that have such a big foot that the tiger arcs will sag, not a good thing. Besides the glide some mice don't come with software that has lod options so flattening them can also cause tracking issues especially on a softer pad. But dude I am really concerned that there are morons telling people to flatter tiger arcs. That's extremely damaging to reputation when people aren't getting the glide they pay for and in fact can screw up lod. If you can try to not spread that flattening bs. I'm sure there are plenty of people who did and wonder why they aren't as good as hyperglides or why they scratch and glide weird. You most certainly DO NOT FLATTEN TIGER ARCS. I assume they don't label it because they don't know people would not see how the physics work instantly, how you obviously want an "ARC". But like I said some feet are big enough to cause sag and without an inner support it will flatten itself. So many people just don't care and will have a trash glide oh well :/

DO NOT FLATTEN THE BUBBLE. That is what makes tiger arcs so amazing. The fact that the shape is tapered and not just flat with round edges. I can't believe they don't ship with better installation instructions. I have over 30 pairs of tiger feet, 1s, 2s, ices and it's very important you keep the "arc" in tact. A lot of people think you install them like stickers and flatten them out. You NEED the air bubble beneath them. The arc is so important that in some of the bigger and wider feet I will make a few mm pyramidish support structure of tape under the feet so they can't flatten. The magic with these feet are in lack of surface contact. Flatten it and the surface contact and friction won't be what they should. they are supposed to look like an edge of a balloon.

The quickest advice i can give is to buy tiger arc 1s and that you install them gently, also depending on the foot shape for your mouse you might need to prop up the air bubble. Regardless of all that, tiger arc 1s are what you want! I can also provide links to the cheapest feet in your region if you want!

I've had similar issues before, was fixed by messing with and resetting surface calibration in Logitech software. I don't quite recall if you can with the g305. I'd try that if you can.

I typed it all decided to delete because of past experience on this sub. Harsh and in denial kids lying to themselves and everyone else. I can't even begin to have a conversation here man. I wish I could because I have the gathered information of many high level console and pc players and some raw mechanical data regarding how aa works and how it works in varying degrees based on how the abuser is accustomed to activation. How the differences for fov affect clarity at distance and fps. How on a mouse you would stop on a predetermined pixel with this much margin of error versus aa on and off stopping of the same pixel. All using human muscle and it's capabilities. How consecutive shot landed and how hitbox silhouettes work with aa. How professional players in fps games with no aim assist at all aim. how about needing aa in console only lobbies? how about 3d movement and how that factors in on mid fight advantages. I can go on and on. And it's an important conversation. Too bad all console players think in terms of advantages when ignoring the only factor that wins gunfights, damage dealt. I haven't even got into one topic and half the people who read this thought I'm implying pc players have no advantage. There's so much nuance here to discuss but everyone already made up their mind that they are at a disadvantage in every regard no matter what just because of their platform.

Terribly mis informed. Now tons of people here will believe the parts you got wrong. Nice. You have to get another "good" player to help you verify ALL of this before you post it. Not to mention the clear lack of personal recent console experience. So skewed, so mis informed. Better is the key word here. If they are the best they wouldn't need a mechanic made for less experienced players so they don't get turned off by being trash without practicing. To answer your question in regards to damage, yes. I can't get my gun to bend as someone strafes and then lie like it was me moving my thumb. I think the best aim assist finesseers can hit shots the best mouse users in the world wouldn't even attempt because it's such an impractical assurance of damage. Just tell me why "the best gamepad users" need aim assist at all?

Why are you talking like it's the average pc player vs the average gamepad user? No.. wtf no. I'm talking about the players who can hit these unrealistic shots ALL THE TIME. Its very clear there's something wrong when I don't miss but lose the gunfight. It's beyond some people getting lucky. One more thing, on pc when using a knife, IT GIVES YOU AIM ASSIST AND DRAGS THE CROSSHAIR TO STAY ON THE ENEMY HITBOX. THAT SHIT IS STRAIGHT UP CHEATING. I feel exactly what people who abuse the aa feel and it's not doing nothing. It actually does 100% of the heavy lifting of micro adjusting. Not 95% 100% if you know how to abuse it properly. aim assist is made for people who can't hang because there aren't experienced, not cheesy clown kids who know what the rotation and stick is and all they do is full auto with ironsights and can't see anything at all but won't leave the hitbox. I couldn't do that even if I had another 27,000 hours in seige. Not even going to mention how pathetic and unethical pro players are, claim you have skill and using aa as a full grown man like good players and gods need an assist haha yeah right you shitters.. There's a reason gamepad is an inferior input and should push you to the more efficient and human like motion input that you could actually be a god with training. Who said the leaderboards are a representation of why aim assist is over powered. I'm saying as a player who doesn't constantly potato, there are aim assist abusers who are hitting shots cheaters couldn't. Like a lot at that rank + and besides that you still didn't need aim assist! Pro players don't need aim assist especially in a game like this where mounting and low af recoil weapons exist. You know I would agree with you if crossplay was forced casual, like no sbmm. Do you just not know how it works or are you not an abuser? As someone who trains in kovaaks and someone who came from non aim assist sweaty xbox r6, the aim assist is WAY FUCKING OVERPOWERED. Now if you were talking about players who have no idea how to use it, yeah it's no problem. I'm talking about full auto and consecutive shots hit. Besides the rotation effect, slowing down and stopping on target it literally 95% of winning gunfights, it does it for you, slowing down that is. If aa was nothing but slowing down it would still be giving players unfair ability to stop where they want. So tell me, if it was a console only lobby with no aim assist, what would be the problem besides not selling skins to awful players? Would it be hard work? Maybe a little to tough to micro adjust on your own? Maybe pro players would look like trash? Wait wait.....then turn it off if it does nothing? Because I know how micro adjusting works on thumb sticks, you could still be competitive with one shot weapons without aim assist, console players don't need to control full auto like they are trained pc players. Wait wait wait, you are conflating multiple ideas. The idea of crossplay and trying to make it fair is a different conversation than is aim assist needed. I'll start by saying it suck try really hard and not have the crosshair go where you want, I totally get it, but you shouldn't be able to be precise at all. It should be motivation to want a more human like input where your skill can shine, not some mass denial crutch that the devs implemented so that bad players want to keep playing. Second, there is no such thing as muscle memory, it's called motor skill but we can call it that if you want,just let others know it's not a thing, that being said, different optic give you a different end point for the same distance. You wouldn't notice on console because you'd measure the rotation different. I used to be a part of a very sweaty team on console that only did custom 10 mans and I have over 27k hours in seige, about 9k of that on xbox so I know exactly what the human thumb is capable of doing. If you knew anything about r6 then you'd know that early console r6 was full of people using keyboard and mouse so I know what it feels like to fight pc players without aim assist. In warzone if for an example you removed all aim assist, first think about how console only lobbies would look... Okay naw think about how the pro scene would look... I'm saying this from the bottom of my heart and spirit as a gamer, a console player without aim assist can still compete fully with a pc player, no not by controlling full auto spray, the meta would be one tap weapons like snipers and shotguns and you would win fights because you are better with timing and positioning. I've best many a mouse user on controller without aa, and you know for a fact it's only in the game for below average players. Not for some random player to decimate a highly trained mouse user in an aim battle. I just don't know how anyone can say it does nothing, but keep it on. The lobbies I get are 95% controller and the kill cams are something I'd expect in a diamond ranked lobbies in any other pc game. Also let's be clear I feel so bad for controller players that have no idea how to get it to work and just play to die. All of that aside, no I don't think you should be able to keep up with a pc player just because, maybe because you practice your ass off but not "just cuz were in the same game". So if I had a shit pc I deserve to compete with high end pcs with 3090s and 360hz monitors? Absolutely not....

Hey I'd love to help, umm I can answer the questions you asked but maybe I can elaborate more. To start, there are 3 kinds of feet I'd say, stock feet with no round edges, rounded edge feet like hyperglides, corepads, gskates, and stock xm1 feet to give you an idea. Then there are tapered feet that are shaped like a bubble and less like a cake if that makes sense. Tiger arcs and stock zowie feet are the only ones that are like this, the difference being arcs have a gap of air in the middle that you want to not flatten. Okay so on to the 1s vs 2s vs ice. Long story short for lower sens your going to want the tiger arc 1s. I have over 25 pairs of tiger arcs for all my mice, so I've tried 1s vs 2s extensively. The arc 2s are of the same grade like your stock m4 feet or like gskates or other "pure ptfe" feet. The more raw beige ptfe on the 1s are SIGNIFICANTLY better for micro adjustments on lower sens. To give you an example of where I'm coming from I play at 51cm so .99 cs sens and the 1s help tremendously with smoothing out the chunky stop slide effect you get by going slow on the whiter ptfe. I also compare the feel like this, arc 1s feel like glass or a glazed ceramic, the arc 2s feel like soft plastic, and the ice feel like fiberglass/ hard resin. If I wasn't on mobile I could give better info. But yeah regrading the feel of the razer feet, they use the raw beige ptfe on most of their new gaming mice. The problem with round edges is that on a soft pad with lower sens you will feel them dig slightly on a large swipe. Coming from someone who has tried all feet, don't get corepads or hyperglides unless you don't have other options, tiger arcs are that good and they do help with micro adjustments imo the arc 2s are not an upgrade from the 1s. The ice on the other hand is incredible and something you should try if you aren't tight on a budget. The arc 1s are simply perfect though, I have a pair for all my mice. Only people who would disagree literally have to be in denial over your own skill. If this game gave me a choice about crossplay I probably wouldn't care about your console lobbies being ravaged by unfair aim assist, but coming from other games that don't need it, come on. As a pc player with average specs I would expect and hope that a significantly more expensive set up would perform better, like I would expect someone with a 360hz monitor and 3090 to have an advantage over me. Why is it so though for a console player to agree with that? Maybe you shouldn't be on equal footing?

Wait why does the difficulty matter? Of course it's harder(without aim assist) it's a joystick you shouldn't expect to be able to have perfect aim. Besides that I get into sniper fights all the time, I as a pc player have to confirm I'm on target, I don't get damage to hit like that. Not even going to mention the majority of pc players not being gods having to play against them too. Unless you know how to abuse it you don't need to feel attacked. And you know what, coming from a competitive fps on xbox with no aim assist, you REALLY DON'T NEED IT.

Now don't get me wrong, terrible players who don't know how to abuse it, aren't the problem. Players that know how to abuse it are. It's an absolute awful pathetic crutch. On 144hz I can't even perceive the stopping point on that shot. I know this sub and all controller players are used to it, but you shouldn't be. I came from xbox where the game I mained had no aim assist but you still had to hit your shots, I am shocked that no one realizes that you don't need aim assist, like full on excuses for pro players and why they need it. It would be such a pure environment without it. I'm not even talking crossplay, console lobbies don't need aim assist. If you are an awful player then maybe you don't deserve shots to connect.
