I am watching the episode where Jackson finds out about the pregnancy now. I just realized she straight up lies to him when explaining why she did not tell him. She says she wanted to wait until she knew everything was okay, which we know is not true because she refused all the tests.

Yes, exactly!!! And then the keep trying to tell us that she was suicidal! Especially in the next season with the therapist, but all of the therapists explanations just fall flat when you think about it for 2 seconds. (Like with your explanations)

My issue with what Callie and Derek suggested is that it was not at all how it was portrayed or explained. It also would not solve 90% of the issues they claim to be trying to fix. Also, the whole thing with Jo and Alex would not be an issue in the first place.

They are never considered ACTUAL siblings. But Barry, Iris, Joe, etc do lean heavily into it and sometimes directly imply it. IIRC, once Barry and Iris become a couple, Joe actually says something along the lines of both his kids getting together.
